21.01.2022 Our successful Junior students who attained their Tiger Junior Black Belt level today. Ages ranged from 9 years through to 13 years. All students started their martial arts training through our highly successful Dragon Program. All displayed incredible spirit and focus to reach this high standard. 09.01.2022 Zenshin Academy are prepared to continue bringing you quality martial arts instruction in a safe training environment. As a result the following protocols have been put into place effective immediately: Class sizes are limited - Childrens - 25 ( usually 12 ) , Adults - 30 (usually 20), Beginners - 10 (usually 6). Limited physical contact between instructors and students. Safe distances between students will be monitored closely. No close partner work between students.... No sparring between students. Training equipment will be disinfected All students to thoroughly wash hands before entering training area.. Paper towels and hand wash gel available. We are working hard to ensure that every student can train in our schools with a feeling of safety and knowing we are doing our utmost to create this feeling of well-being. 05.01.2022 PSA to Members and Students of Dojos I urge you to reach out to your Dojo owner and pledge your support to them instead of canceling or pausing your membershi...ps. You would be surprised how many dojo owners operate 1-2 months away from being bankrupt and still have to pay thousands in rent and expenses. Further, most insurance policies will not be covering business interruption caused by the virus. Dojo owners are rarely wealthy and chose this business because of their passion and love for martial arts and of helping others. If you want to have a dojo to go back to in the weeks or months to come, I strongly encourage you not to cancel your membership and leave your dojo to carry the weight alone. Chances are, the dojo owner is also struggling between doing what is safe for the community and keeping their dojo. Dont leave them to be pressured into creating a public risk because they have no other choice but to shut down permanently. See more
