21.01.2022 Share away, my business is growing through word of mouth. This client was directed my way via a friend who heard she was struggling with previous birth trauma. She initially came to me at 41 weeks? Overdue and being fearful of persuasive induction. I offer to all full doula clients a relaxation session at 36-38 weeks as part of my full service. It was recommended she come to me to get that service. I agreed to offer her that. But when I met her I saw her greater need and pot...ential. I went with my intuition and offered to work with her. She accepted the offer and her desired dream birth was accomplished. She was diligent and proactive in every skill, move, direction and advice given. She made up for the 9 months of not working with her. I do not advise last minute clients as anything could go wrong and lose hope, but in her case, faith worked with us. We also learned that the negativity, fear, anxiety etc..... was her biggest set back. The undoing of that was powerful work. It could not have been accomplished without the Power of Prayer. I actually laid awake at night 2 days leading up to her birth in agonising supplication to my God on her behalf. That is my source of strength. Do not wait, engage in my services early on so we can attain the best outcome possible.

COVID-19 is not a waterborne virus, therefore, the water environment dilutes respiratory droplet and faecal contamination potential. In the Coronavirus context, water immersion presents a lower risk of contamination risk for midwives compared with bed birth because it promotes the use of social distancing without interrupting normal midwifery care.
