20.01.2022 Some words of wisdom for judoka ...... Remember, you don’t suck, you’re not bad at something, you’re not dumb, you’re not any of these terrible things. Everyone starts at the bottom in life and those who work, and fail, and get back to work and never give up, ever, are the ones who make it. ... The ones who become the master in something. The legend, the champ, the guru! You can not be great until you have paid your dues and tested your values. It’s the right of passage that you must serve. Anyone out there reading this and feeling down and out. Remember, this is just one step closer to you being a champion. Keep going. Credit: Coach Shane CrossFit HF

20.01.2022 Wow, a pioneer of women’s judo...her story was famous when I was a young judoka....women were not allowed to compete so she cut her hair short, tapped her breasts flat and entered the competition, beating the men. When they found out she was female, they stripped her of her medal.

20.01.2022 Congratulations to our 14 judoka who graded tonight! This was a grading for our beginners and they not only passed but smashed it! ...it’s also a proud moment when one of the coaches gets to grade their nephews and see their excitement and enthusiasm for our wonderful sport We’re back again Thursday to grade our higher belts...can’t wait to see what they can do! ... One of the things we love about zoojudo is the family spirit...although 14 were getting graded, another 16 more senior grades showed up to support and practise for Thursday. Well down guys and girls
