Some tips for wet weather driving: * double your braking time and the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you... * reduce your speed * never use cruise control if there is a risk of aqua planing - and if you do begin to aqua plane, never apply the brakes, instead gently ease off your accelerator and allow your tyres to regain traction * put on your headlights in heavy rain to increase visibility Above all, remain aware of your surroundings.
