19.01.2022 Alexandrina Council are again being environmentally proactive supporting another initiative working towards a circular economy and cleaner environment. Funding approved for the Port Elliot Dog Club project - waste diversion from landfill. All AMS Premium Compostable Dog Waste Bags used within the dog park will be funded by the council. ... All Compostable dog bags used will be discarded into soon to be provided bins specifically designed for dog waste only. The bins will be weighed prior to collection to track analytical data calculating the total waste diverted from landfill. All waste collected will then be converted to compost via the local industrial composting facility. Well done Alexandrina Council and the friends of Port Elliot Dog Park working in partnership towards a cleaner greener environment!! ....................AMS Products.................. 13.01.2022 Port Elliot Dog Park Waste 12-Week Trial completedWeighing and monitoring dog waste at the dog park has been completed thanks to some very helpful volunteers. Special thanks goes to Don Fraser, Jane Hill and Angie M Spartan for helping divert 201kg and over 2,800 bags from landfill - woo hoo!The green wheelie bin will now live next to the general waste bin in the car park. Please continue to put dog waste in compostable bags in there and general waste in the other bin!

04.01.2022 City of Cockburn in Western Australia couldnt be happier after recently implementing the AMS Dog Waste System in the citys local parks. The key benefits to Council being the reduction of vandalism with the new robust AMS large capacity dispensing units which also have the ability to hold quantities of up to 700 bags per roll. Subsequently the units have to be refilled with bags less frequently resulting in substantial savings to council in servicing costs. ... Council is also leading the way from an environmental aspect.
