Genetics plays a big part in controlling body composition and shape. Crunches will simply strengthen your abdominal muscles, which are underneath the layer of belly fat. 25.01.2022 Southwestern Quinoa stuffed Capsicum Serves: 6-8 Ingredients: 6-8 capsicum (depending on size) 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed... 1 can of corn, drained and rinsed 1 250-gram punnet of cherry tomatoes 1/3 cup spring onion, diced 1 cup quinoa (dry) 500 grams chorizo, browned 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp cumin 2 tsp fajita seasoning 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp fresh coriander, coarsely chopped 1/2 lime juice 3/4 cup low-fat shredded cheese Optional garnishes: avocado, salsa, plain Greek yogurt Method: 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. 2. Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a saucepan with 1 cup of quinoa. Once boiling, cover pot and turn down heat to simmer until all water has absorbed (approx. 15 minutes). 3. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Cook chorizo and season with cumin, fajita spice and garlic. Cook until meat is uniformly brown. 4. Add meat, quinoa and veggies to a large bowl. Sprinkle with coriander and lime juice, stirring until combined. 5. Cut the tops off the 6-8 capsicum. Remove hearts and seeds. 6. Place capsicum in greased pan. Stuff with mixture. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Top with cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese has melted and capsicum have softened. Garnish and serve. Want a copy of the recipe? This is simply not true. There is lots of research that suggests 3 sessions per week for 40-50 min will allow a physiological change in your body to occur.

17.01.2022 THE ULTIMATE 1 MINUTE PROTEIN BROWNIE (PALEO, VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE) The Ingredients Protein Powder Obviously a must for a protein powder mug brownie recipe! See below for my tested recommendations! Coconut Flour This is KEY to give this brownie a dessert-like texture! Do not omit, or else the brownie will be watery. ... Granulated sweetener of choice Optional, but recommended if you prefer a sweet brownie and if your protein powder is unsweetened. Baking powder To ensure the batter rises and transforms into an actual brownie! Cocoa Powder To enhance the chocolate flavor- Use dark cocoa powder for the ultimate rich flavor! Egg or Egg white Either can be used, egg whites will yield a fluffier texture! Milk of choice To smooth out the batter. I used unsweetened coconut milk, but any milk will work. Chocolate Chips Optional, but highly recommended! The Instructions Making this mug brownie takes one minute to prepare and just one minute to make! Step 1- Prepare the batter- Grease a large, microwave-safe mug. Place your dry ingredients into it and mix well. Add your egg white, milk and mix until a smooth batter remains. If desired, fold through some chocolate chips. Step 2- Microwave the batter- Microwave your mug protein cake for 60 seconds, or up to 2 minutes. Cooking time depends on your brand of microwave. Step 3- Remove from the mug and enjoy- Allow your mug brownie to sit for 20 seconds, before slipping out of the mug onto a plate.

You're in luck we have a cookie dough recipe you can use whenever you get a sweet tooth craving If you want to add it to your recipe book we have it in our Weekly Recipe Box inside the gym!... Makes 18-20 teaspoon sized cookie-dough bites Ingredients 3 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsp honey cup almond flour cup pulverised oats (or oat flour) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 heaping tbsp nut butter of choice 2 tbsp cacao nibs, mini chocolate chips or carob chips Method 1. Mix coconut oil, vanilla, and honey in a medium bowl. 2. Add almond meal, pulverised oats and protein powder. 3. Stir in nut butter. Continue mixing until thoroughly combined. 4. Add chip of choice to dough mixture. 5. Using a heaping teaspoon, form dough into balls. 6. Freeze dough bites (minimum 2 hours).
