25.01.2022 Wow. This award winning independent brewery just got snapped up by CUB. Hope it stays original and doesn't turn into some blended mash up. Then again, CUB profits go offshore now so..... there goes another Great Aussie.

25.01.2022 Welcome aboard guys. If people would like a taste of how good the Quarters are, click on th link to the season 2 finale at Live at the Spectrum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dz42dP5jpk and support local music. The quarters at the second act in. Enjoy.

25.01.2022 Does it matter if the micro brewery you support sells out to a multinational corporation? People and pubs around the state drink and sell CUB products that filter money offshore and they are well supported by the public. Does that make this thing right? And does the public really care?

24.01.2022 This commercial was written, performed, filmed and directed by my nieces, nephew and daughter as an afternoon project. A classic in our household.

23.01.2022 For those that know me, they know I will not publicly want to bag the council out for the sake of pointing the finger. I believe a council should the best of the best, of community leaders that want to better the relationships we have with each other, and that they would want growth in all positive sectors of the community. With some of the people that say I am using council for the blame game, you don't know the half of it. I take full responsibility for everything I do ...Continue reading

22.01.2022 Welcome to Latrobe Valley, Sailors Grave Brewery from Orbost. Check out http://www.sailorsgravebrewing.com/beers

20.01.2022 The Beercide Yourself Festival was designed to support Victorian breweries in an ever growing Australian and International market. Here is what the nation voted as the top beers in Oz.

19.01.2022 Get on our website to open the link to these great breweries. They're making some awesome brews and you'll love what they are producing when you get to taste their products at the festival.

19.01.2022 It is up to the community now. I'll do my best to promote this and would like your support too. Tickets available on our website at www.beercideyourself.com.au or on the events page. Don't let the council close this community event. Tickets are limited and there is no guarantee you can just rock up if sold out.

18.01.2022 Gippsland's own Sailors Grave everyone. Merry Xmas and try to get some of these under your tree or in your stockings.

17.01.2022 If you wanted to go to the festival and were worried about the no refund policy I forgot to chance or you did not want to buy tickets online, please let us know. Result may well be the difference between us risking thousands of dollars or breaking even and I will refund every single ticket if the event goes pear shape. I'm also prepared to sell my project car if needed as a gamble and believe I am creating a positive impression in the community. Who would have thought selling awesome beer and cider as well as promoting a live music concert would be so difficult? We're down to the last 12 hours so act fast and share if you think friends will vote. Vote with the like button.

17.01.2022 Sorry folks, refunds coming soon. To the 85 people that would have had employment at this festival I sincerely want to apologise for not being able to get over the last barrier. To the breweries that made special stock and booked accommodation to stay in Morwell, I hope you can get refunds as this was not your fault and I hope you have success throughout the Summer and I'll see you soon. To the 35 musicians that are unable to perform in front of a home audience, I've got ...your numbers and hope to be supporting more local talent in the future. Thank you to Thorpdale Bakery that made 420 specialised high end pies that now need to be sold elsewhere. I'll do everything I can to help you offload this product. Also to Eastside Smokers that produced 80kgs of slow cooked bbq brisket (cryovac) for the festival, sorry I can't pay for this stock, again I will do anything to help to sell it. To the best security company in town A.P.I.S Security, thanks for being my rock and supporting me through many legal processes. I can't thank you enough and I have learned so much from you. Finally, thanks to all of those that bought a ticket to the festival and those that shared some of my posts. This festival was for you and I'm deeply sorry I couldn't get this one up. And to the Latrobe City council......your a special bunch of people I never want to deal with again. EVER. EVER, EVER EVER. Still can't believe you wanted the bar rights and have me pay for it. Putting shit beer, wine, spirits and chocolates in a craft brewery festival. Rude, greedy, incompetent, inefficient, rip off merchants. No wonder no one wants to come here. Is as bad a reputation people say you are. Should have listened and started elsewhere. See more

16.01.2022 As of an email correspondence by council confirmed today, there will be no event if payment isn't made by Wednesday. That means no chance to just rock up because we won't have the keys to get in. So, we ask you again to purchase tickets now at www.beercideyourself.com.au or 80 people set to work the day and promote their local product and crafts will be without a job and potentially thousands of dollars. I David Wade, will personally refund every ticket if event doesn't get up. Guaranteed.

15.01.2022 Plenty to do to support local music and events this weekend so for all of those that got their refunds, please go to one of these gigs and get behind the Live at the Spectrum team for all your Gippsland gig guide information and entertainment news.

12.01.2022 The writing was on the wall when our state government told our council to put a halt on liquor licenses and declare a war on booze. The main reason the Beer festival in Morwell was dropped and made to fend by itself during the late stages of it planning. Now starting to see why the festival was never added to the events calendar on the councils media platforms and why the events team stopped supporting the delivery of their services like Website and releasing ticket sales. Was set up to fail.

09.01.2022 This is awesome for an independent brewery that only started a few years ago. Congratulations Hawkers, would have loved to have had shared this moment with you in Morwell.

09.01.2022 See all these bands and musicians at the festival. They are getting paid for their service and also need your support through ticket sales to be able to perform. Tickets at www.beercideyourself.com.au

08.01.2022 Big shout out to Live at the Spectrum who like us, are trying to promote Gippsland music to the masses. They are a welcoming spotlight for artists and bands alike and need your support.

07.01.2022 For the beer lovers. Start nominating for your favorite breweries and get ready to vote for your favorite drop this year. Will be interesting with a couple of sales and bitter responses. Hoppy holidays.

05.01.2022 Arriba Cantina proudly supporting Beercide Yourself. Thanks guys. Love your food too.

02.01.2022 So annoyed our council would use their influence to shut down and local beer and music festival that supported only Victorian made produce and local musicians, yet go on and use ratepayers money to support a multinational conglomerate for local businesses to take our money offshore. What a bunch of hypocrites. Buy local my ass. I had to fill out shit loads of paperwork and waste months of time for approval just to hire a hall and now i see the very same council are paying ...for facebook boosted advertisements for Alibaba. WTF, how much were they paid to support this? Instead of getting behind local industy, they want our businesses to buy cheap Chinese shit and offload it to the public. Note: Latrobe City Council are sponsoring (paying for) this advertisement and allowing Alibaba to hold functions within their own building at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre on Grey Street. Just so businesses can be influenced to buy cheap Chinese products that are mostly unregulated and made by low income workers. As a ratepayer I am ashamed to have you represent me. Dumping Australian money offshore once again. Personally i have no vendetta against Alibaba, people have the right to choice to buy/support what they want. What is wrong is this council doesn't really care about you or our businesses. They only care about themselves. This function below is sponsored by the LCC and you. You should attend, register your concerns and really support local industry, after all, it's free.

01.01.2022 Got bloat? Get your beers into a glass.
