23.01.2022 These two cows are both daughters of Benamitchy Chip off the Block more commonly known simply as Chip. One of the measures of a top bull is his ability to reproduce quality daughters & sons. To see Great samples of Chip's sons check out the Ainskebeau bulls at this year's Casino All Breeds Bull Sale coming up Saturday week. 22.01.2022 Our latest Stud boy "Benamitchy King Karma". French Pure Polled by Viking out of one of our best. Immaculate structure, fab head, meat from head to tail, impeccable attitude, silky short coat, smooth muscle pattern & with his first youngsters on the ground suggesting he will breed on very well. Scanned at 15 mths with a massive 124 sq cm eye muscle for that age. 5 & 4 rid & rump fat & a very pleasing 3.3 IMF. Semen being offered in this year's Muscle Sale 3rd Mar 19 day old youngster showing real early thickness pictured below.

12.01.2022 Once again the annual Muscle sale is being catalogued. We are only putting in two lots of semen this year from our current Stud Sire, Benamitchy King Karma is a French Pure polled son of Viking out of one of our best a daughter of Tabias and with a strong Funambule influence further back. This bull is a magnificent specimen of the breed with very correct structure, the silkiest short coat we've produced, an impeccable nature and meat from head to toe. We had him scanned at 15 mths with a massive 124 sq cm eye muscle (the largest we have had at that age and as high as we've heard for the age), 3 & 5 rib & rump fat and a very impressive 3.3 IMF (marbling)

12.01.2022 Having had most Beef breeds over a lifetime the Limousin has always impressed most in so many traits. Fertility - nothing more costly than cows running empty. Ease of calving - again dead calves and/or cows from calving issues is to be avoided if possible. Limo calves are born small & hit the ground growing. Feed conversion. Not impressed with daily weight gain particularly but very much so by maximum conversion of feed into actual saleable meat and nothing, in our opinion do...es it better than the Limousin. Along with the last goes less bone & excess fat than so many other breeds. Both are virtually waste products to the retailer and attract next to nothing money wise. Intelligence. Show a Limo a couple of times and they’ll virtually work themselves. We purposely select for correct jaws, legs & hooves, length on straight back lines, laid in shoulders and tail, non wastey gut shape and smooth muscle pattern with soft silky coats without losing depth & thickness.
