COVID-19 Measures: The BC Toastmasters Club is acutely aware of the public measures in place to manage and contain the spread of COVID-19. We are carefully monitoring this evolving situation and complying with relevant directions.... Should you have any cold or flu symptoms please do not attend tonight. Further, we do not support shaking of hands in the current environment. As you can appreciate, the wellbeing of our participants and Queenslanders is of utmost importance. 15.01.2022 A huge thank you to Victor for this incredible poem prepared earlier and read during our poetry night - showcasing our talented members and their strengths! There is another member missing off the poem! (I have added a section for our great poet himself!) - Victor - After joining our club to perfect his wedding speech, he became one of our greatest assets every member will preach, with the worlds best humour, riddles and rhyme, when you see Victor at a meeting you know he will shine!

14.01.2022 What a wonderful, online meeting we all enjoyed last night. In addition to our members and a guest (whos decided to join), we had a visiting Toastmaster who jo...ined us virtually from Highway Safety Toastmasters in Tallahassee, Florida, in the USA, braving the early hour of 4.30am, because of the 14-hour time difference. Brisbane Central Toastmasters Club is continuing to meet online during COVID-19 restrictions, and all agree that the online experience isnt too different from our physical meetings that we hope to resume soon. Please join our next meeting on Monday 15 June at 6.15pm. Send us a message to get the details.

09.01.2022 What an epic achievement for Brisbane Central Toastmasters! The likes of Banjo Paterson, William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe would have been impressed by our first ever club poetry night tonight! Revolutionising the way we meet, our 2nd hybrid meeting gave us all the opportunity to tune in from far and wide to participate, listen and learn from to our top class speakers. A mixture of experienced Toastmasters and eager guests graced our screens both from their homes and from our current Brisbane Central HQ The Normanby Hotel. We are working hard behind the scenes to learn and adapt our club meetings to in this new environment
