25.01.2022 Building biology is about creating healthy, beautiful, and sustainable buildings in ecologically sound and socially connected communities. In the selection of materials and the design of living environments, ecological, economic, and social aspects are considered. Check out the 25 Guiding Principles of Building Biology here: https://buildingbiology.com/principles-of-baubiologie/

25.01.2022 Only Five Days Left to Save! IAQ for You: An Introduction to Indoor Air Quality Indoor Air Quality is affected by a myriad of factors, many of which are under y...our control. For instance, all biological creatures need food and water, and by controlling these factors, you can manage pests of any sizefrom large (rodents) to small (bugs) to very small (mould), simply by keeping your building dry and clean. Ultra-fine particulates are another concern as they can enter our bloodstream directly. Children are the most vulnerable among us, exposed as they so often are by closer proximity to floor surfaces where they play, and where chemical cleaning compounds also lurk. And yet none of this should be daunting, as this course so adroitly explains. Topics include mitigating and solving biological hazards presented by mold and animal/insect pests, origins and solutions for particulate hazards, chemical interactions with health. This course conveys 15 Building Biology Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

19.01.2022 Is this the future (not only) of clay construction? 3D printing house.

19.01.2022 Cell Phones: Unsafe at any Speed It took twenty years after modern cell phones hit the market before a billion of them were in use, in 2004. But after that, it ...only took eighteen months to reach the second billion. Nine months later, three billion were in use, and only six months after that there were four billion cell phones. And the world is already showing the early signs of an epidemic of brain cancer. Those who avoid the tragedy of brain cancer may find themselves battling other health problems, major and minor, such as headaches and dizziness, Alzheimer’s disease, autism and even impotence. But a worsening future is preventable. If enough people demand change, and act to make change, then change will happen. It is the only way change has ever come about. Topics include impacts on health, analog and digital radio frequency, thermal effect, non-thermal effect, high and low frequencies, scientific research, environmental solutions. This course conveys 20 Building Biology Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Use Coupon Code 22110112020com

06.01.2022 ~ Shared from the HEALTH AUSTRALIA PARTY ~ While we are quite consumed with Covid19, there are still many other issues that are continuing. One such issue is the Victorian Labor Government earlier this year changed their position regarding electricity smart meter's and the option to opt-out of this system. This now means that all Victorians are denied the choice to have a non-communicating smart meter. Some people are sensitive to Electromagnetic Radiation (EMF) and it can si...gnificantly effect their health. By not allowing a non-communicating smart meter, this can cause significant issues for these people. Please sign the petition to tell the Victorian Energy Minister and DELWP to include amendments that will allow Victorians to have radio frequency communications on an installed smart meter deactivated. https://www.parliament.vic.gov.au//view-e-p/details/12/272

03.01.2022 It’s Autumn, holidays are done, study time returns! This is a timely reminder that the AIBB website, www.buildingbiology.org.au is a repository of information about our Australian organisation and membership. It carries links to the English language German website www.buildingbiology.com where our course is administered: it is also a treasure trove of info about building biology.

03.01.2022 Spring in Melbourne has well and truly sprung. Magnificent blooms venture out of the murky depths in my garden. It’s time to think about new directions, new inspiration, new mental models perhaps. This is a timely reminder that the AIBB website, www.buildingbiology.org.au is a repository of information about us. It carries links to the English language German website www.buildingbiology.com where our course is administered: it is also a treasure trove of info about building biology.
