25.01.2022 Bubble Cup 2020 Introducing the RPAYC Centreboard Bubble Cup 2020. Created by the Centreboard Committee, the Bubble Cup came about due to the fact that no one can currently travel and all major events have been cancelled. Run over the October Long Weekend (3 & 4 October), the event is open to all centreboard boats both members & visitors provided they live within the region. ... The NOR is currently being finalised with more details and online entries and information available soon.

22.01.2022 LT Windsurfer Results A massive fleet of 71 competitors enjoyed 9 races over two great days at the NSW State Champs at Toronto Amateur Sailing Club. Both RPAYC & Pittwater were well represented with 14 sailors competing. Congratulations to all of the RPAYC Sailors. 21.01.2022 The final touches to the Summer Centreboard Season race documents are being done and will be loaded tonight. We are delight to have Harken Australia Pty Ltd onboard and look forward to offering Centreboard competitors a race team top. There will be 10 Divisions raced over 2 course areas, dont miss the Race Briefing each week: o Division 1: Optimist Green and Intermediate o Division 2: Optimist Open... o Division 3: Laser 4.7 o Division 4: Laser Radial & Aero o Division 5: Laser Full & Finn o Division 6: Flying Ant & Pacer o Division 7: Windsurfers o Division 8: 29ers etc o Division 9: Waszp o Division 10: Multihulls This season we will be using an electronic sign on system, competitors can sign on / off on the day of the scheduled race via the Centreboard web-page or via a SMS message on the day. Incorrect sail numbers, skipper & crew details wont be scored. Double handed boats also are required to include their crew details which can be done via the online entry form. 19.01.2022 LOST PROPERTY There is a very large amount of wetsuits, life jackets, boots and other lost property in the Jack Gale Centre. If you can please have a look this weekend and any remaining unclaimed items will be re gifted to those who may need it.

This event continues to evolve, with an additional amendment posted in relation to a morning session for all boats which will be spread across 2 course areas. 06.01.2022 Selden for Sailing Series - Round 6 The final round (R6) of the Selden for Sailing Series will go ahead this Sunday 23 August with a reminder to maintain proper social distancing as per the NSW Government regulations. There are three key points: 1. No siblings are to attend the Centreboard Lawn on sunday and junior sailors are now limited to 1x parent per sailor. 2. All sailors need to be extra mindful to practice social distancing.... 3. No presentation or informal gatherings at the Club post racing. 02.01.2022 Centreboard 2020-2021 Season Open - This Sunday. The 2020-21 season kicks off this Sunday 6 September. This season we will be running 2 course areas again. Volunteers are essential, if you arent already racing it would be great to see you dockside lending a hand. To race you must enter prior to race day and ensure your boat/sail number details are correct to receive a score. If you are a double handed boat your crews details must also be correct for the days race. If you sw...ap boats or change sail numbers during the season that equals a new entry. An electronic sign on and sign off will be used, if your displayed details arent correct you will be required to update your entry or create a new entry. A competitor unable to attend a race due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed by a State or Federal Govt are eligible for Average Points. 02.01.2022 OPTIMIST STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS POSTPONED Unfortunately due to tighter restrictions which come into effect this week, we will again have to postpone the 2020 NSW Optimist Championships here at RPAYC. NSW International Optimist Dinghy Association... Your Centreboard Committee is working very hard to create an exciting training and participation plan which will be shared in the coming weeks. Our renewed focus is on Pittwater activities and events to keep our sailors engaged and loving their sport. We are taking a positive and pragmatic approach to realising the unique opportunities these times create for us and will keep member safety at the forefront of our thinking as we plan.
