07.01.2022 A reminder from Eva that this is far from over: "People - the announcement of the closing of Manus Detention Centre is nothing new. The Supreme Court of PNG ruled the detention centre illegal months ago and told the Oz govt it had to be closed. This announcement diverts attention away from the recent Nauru leaks. They will either have to resettle in PNG which is a failure, go home or be sent to another country. And what of the men, women and children on Nauru?"
