24.01.2022 GREAT NEWS TO FOLLOW UP MY POST YESTERDAY!!! Due to a miscommunication regarding fee increases KNSW are going to freeze the increase on Event Licences for Young Guns only so anyone that wants to purchase will only pay $55 instead of $80 . Get in and get your licence now so you don’t miss out. Thank you Karting NSW for this kind gesture.

23.01.2022 Sending out a gigantic thank you to all of our fantastic Racers, their families and pitcrews that travelled far and wide to attend our 24th running of our YOUNG GUNS TITLES at Lismore this weekend. We hope you enjoyed your time here with us, through wet and dry times, we all had a great weekend . It may only have been a small group, but it was a great group of wonderful people and we hope you will all spread the word & come back and help us Celebrate our 25TH year next year.... We also hope you had a safe trip home again. Thank you to all our hard working Volunteer's and anyone else that helped with the weekend. To our ever hard working Canteen girls, Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do to help keep everyone fed and watered over the weekend over 2 very long days with early morning starts. we LUV you. To anyone else we have forgotten, thank you for what ever you do, no matter how big or small. Thanks Lismore Kart Club Committee.

18.01.2022 Please be advised that the Track is CLOSED again this weekend from 5pm Friday 13th Nov until 9am Monday 16th Nov due to Bikes using for racing.

18.01.2022 Attention Please: Our track is going to be re-open from 9am tomorrow morning until 5pm Sunday Afternoon. The track repairs have been unforeseeably delayed until next Tuesday, so the track will be available for practice until Sunday afternoon, from then it will remain closed for approx 1 week, but we will contact everyone once we know when we can re-open.

We are a members only family friendly motor sport club focused on grass roots development of our junior drivers. Our Club has a focused junior development program for our drivers, designed to improve the skills and understanding of kart set up, race craft and provides a great platform and opportunity for our members to improve their lap times overseen by accredit...ed and highly experienced coaches who will be on hand to provide extensive technical training and tips to improve your driving in a safe and controlled environment. For those interested in joining this adrenaline pumping sport there is a wide variety classes for all ages 6-7 and up, anyone can get involved ‘It is not the winning but the taking part that counts no matter your level of ability, there is always a place for enthusiastic competitors in our club. 15.01.2022 KARTING NSW APPROVES NON-GENUINE PARTS FOR IAME REEDJET AND VORTEX MINIROK ENGINES Karting New South Wales will allow the use of some non-genuine parts in its ...Competition Rules for the IAME 100cc Reedjet and Vortex Mini Rok engines from 1 January 2021. The non-genuine parts which shall be permitted in 2021 include replacements for the OEM clutch drum, drive sprocket, starter motor, and stop / start ignition buttons. Additionally wiring looms will be permitted to be repaired to their original condition. The rule change will provide no performance advantage, but is intended to save the karter a significant amount of money. It complements the announcement made in October 2020, which now allows the use of hard-chromed cranks in Mini Rok engines. Graeme Abbott, KNSW State Technical Officer, said We are thrilled with the positive feedback received in October when we announced the use of hard-chromed cranks in Mini Roks. We expect today’s announcement will be equally as well received by karters and industry alike. Ms Alsters, Chair of KNSW said Our vision is simple. It is to see More people karting more often. To achieve this, we need to continue to explore ways to reduce the costs associated with karting. It is anticipated that additional cost-reduction measures will be announced throughout 2021.

14.01.2022 ATTENTION "YOUNG GUN " INTERSTATE & VISITING RACERS!! You will all need to be Licenced by KARTING NSW for YOUNG GUNS. For anyone needing to do this , you can purchase a EVENT LICENCE that will allow you to practice Friday and RACE both days. The Cost is $80. You will need to log into KNSW website and go to the Licencing portal , select purchase a Licence and from there select the Event licence tab. ... THINGS YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS: If you don't already have a KNSW karting ID you will need * A screenshot of your Driver's Licence or for Children a Birth Certificate. * A Passport size photo. * email address Phone Numbers Postal Address Contact persons details. Plus a password for your Log in (needs to be at least 8 Characters) If you don't like to play with these sorts of things lol and would like me to do it for you PLEASE do not hesitate to call me and I can do it.
