22.01.2022 We are excited to be bringing back 5 a side for another year. Tuesday nights - U6 to U15's Thursday nights - Open/Seniors - 2 separate grades - competitive and social... This competition is open to everyone - no need to be a Narangba Eagle. A great opportunity to come and try! Age groups are based on the age the player is turning in 2020. Eg, for U6 - the player must be turning 6 during 2020. Age groups/grades are: U6 and U7 U8 and U9 U10 and U11 U12 and U13 U14 and U15 Seniors - competitive Seniors - social (U6-U15 age groups may change depending on number of teams in each age group). Senior Social - to ensure this is a truly social comp, a maximum of 2 season registered 2020 players are allowed on the field at any one time. Runners or football boots. Shin pads COMPULSORY for all players please. Games - U6 - U15's Tuesday nights starting at 5pm - youngest players first. - Seniors Thursday nights from 6pm. Commencing - 3rd and 5th November 2020 Finals - 8th and 10th December 2020 (all teams will play this night). SUPER IMPORTANT: If you are putting together a team, please place your 5 A SIDE TEAM NAME in the Preference box. Teams should have between 6-8 players. 20.01.2022 Round 3 of the Vilic Law Capital 3 Premier League this weekend, and that means another road trip to Toowoomba. We will be visiting the Willowburn Magpies for a Halloween special that promises to be a real nail biter. After a draw for the Cap 3 team and narrow win for the Reserves there earlier in the season, the guys will be looking to snatch vital victories required to remain at the top of their respective tables. If you're coming down to watch, be sure to bring a bicyc...le helmet and some cable ties as Magpies do not take kindly to Eagles invading their territory. Reserves play at 5:00 PM Top Team play at 7:00 PM

20.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Louise Globke who passed away last week after a short battle with cancer. Lou pictured here in the middle helping out at the last Narangba World Cup, has been involved with the club for many years as a player, a coach, a volunteer and a football Mum. Lou played for our Women's team 20 years ago and was known for her blistering pace, something she passed on to her children Chloe, Sam and Noah. After hanging up her boots it's... fair to say that Louise loved nothing more than watching her kids play football, getting right into the games and cheering her kids along every step of the way. Lou's passing was marked with a minute's silence at Sunday's U15 game in which her son Noah bravely played. Lou was a very funny, kind and special lady, loved by all those fortunate enough to know her. Our thoughts go out to her husband Rainer and children Chloe, Sam and Noah at this tough time.

19.01.2022 Come join us in the Eagles’ Nest for an exciting top-of-the-League clash this Sunday afternoon against Springfield. Both the Senior Men and Reserves head the table by three points, but Springfield have a game in hand. A win by both of our teams will bring them a lot closer to finishing top of the table. We really need you to be the 12th man for our boys! After the long road trip last weekend, our boys are dead keen to play at home in front of our loyal Eagles’ Nest, loudly c...heering them on to secure a hugely important win. The Reserves kick off at 4:00pm and the Top Team starts at 6:00pm. Our U11 team will escort our players onto the pitch. It’s school holidays and it will be a cool, dry evening, so come down with the whole family to enjoy the game while having a drink and bite to eat. Both the canteen and the bar will be open. Whilst a win or draw will see the Eagles grab the promotions we crave, a win for Springfield will see them go up to Cap 2 instead. Make no mistake this is the biggest game for the Eagles in years and we need your passionate support. 13.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Narangba Eagles Inclusive Program. To extend our Eagles family to include the Inclusive Program for children with autism is something we are extremely proud of. Seven beautiful Saturday mornings throughout winter we have had 14 new young Eagles running, shooting, dribbling, laughing, scoring goals, developing all kinds of skills and reaching new personal heights. The structured but relaxed atmosphere has been a blessing f...or both kids and parents. To make these amazing kids be part of and feel part of a real football club was one of the main goals for the program. The work behind the scenes by our treasurer, the financial support from our sponsors and the great ideas and work put in by the program managers and coaches is a great proof that teamwork is the way to go. Established Narangba Junior players volunteering every Saturday morning to be Buddies’ for our new players was a tremendous success; both players and Buddies eagerly looking forward to each new session. The format definitely pushing a few little boundaries, in friendly ways helping the players improve communication and socialising skills. To say the program was and is a success is an understatement - so very popular with the kids, the coaches, the parents and the Buddies; we have lots of established Junior players lining up to be the next Buddies! THIS SHOW MUST GO ON - and it certainly will! 09.01.2022 Paradise City down at Harris Avenue this Friday night. Both of our City Men's teams are in action in top of the table encounters that will determine the final positions in the league. City 6 DECIDER ... ************************ On the main field at 7:30pm we have our City 6 team vs Taringa Rovers, the top two teams in the league currently separated by 3 points. A win or draw would clinch the title for our boys but a slip up and the spoils go to Taringa. City 7 ************** On the bottom field also at 7:30pm we have the City 7 team vs Mitchelton. A win for our City 7 will see them secure a well deserved second place in what has been a great season. This is your last chance to see our City Men's teams in action this season. Both teams have had fantastic seasons so come down and show your support. The bar will be open to keep you hydrated during the game and help with some pre-election deliberations.

09.01.2022 While our Narangba Eagles sit comfortably in the nest, keeping the Capital 3 egg warm, they cannot afford to lose concentration against the very capable prey in the Logan Village Falcons who will be out to ruffle some feathers with some decent results this year already. Sunday will see 1st vs 6th in the league when we travel to Logan Village. With a very valuable 3 points on offer, the boys will have to fight hard for the win. Top team kick off at 3pm while our Reserves take ...the field at 1pm. Reserves sit equal Top but occupying 2nd spot on goal difference in the table and will be looking for another valuable 3 points when they come up against 9th place Falcons. Our Senior men’s team hope to keep the momentum going this week against worthy opponents in the Bulldogs. Reserves kick off the action at Harris Ave at 4pm where they will have to stay focused to keep in the race for top spot. While our Eagles sit 2nd on the table, the Bulldogs would be hungry to close the gap as they sit in 5th, 6 points behind our Eagles. Our Eagles defence wi...ll need to stay alert to the danger of Samuel Vincent who has 6 goals from 7 games, fresh off a hattrick last week vs Park Ridge. Top team will close out the evening hopefully with 3 points at 6pm. In another hot contest, our boys will need to stay focused and hungry to keep there 6 point lead on top of table ahead of Springfield, who have a game in hand. 01.01.2022 NEFC ROUND 6 After Last Week's 1- 1 Draw Against Redcliffe PCYC, our Capital 3 Men's team are looking to bounce back against our neighbours, North Lakes Mustangs. In what promises to be another ding dong battle against close rivals, the Eagles are very focused on not losing the League Leaders status they have worked hard to achieve. While Our Capital 3 Reserves look for another 3 points this week after coming away 4 - 2 winners last week. 01.01.2022 Soaring Eagles Round 5 of the Capital League 3 Men's competition promises to be a true meaning of a local derby..... Our Narangba Men's teams face a worthy opponent in Redcliffe PCYC.. Our Eagles Men's team has started the campaign very strongly, scoring an extraordinary 33 goals and conceding only 6 from the first 4 rounds while our reserves have also started with a bang scoring 17 goals and conceding 5........ The Senior men's teams enter this weekends derby undefeated and hopes are high to continue against PCYC. This won't be no easy task with local bragging rights on the line and both teams wanting to take the 3 points... While our Reserves enter the fierce battle with only 1 blemish of the season so far. Get down to Talobilla Park this Saturday 22nd August with Reserves at 5pm and Top Team at 7pm. Can Jamie Hilliar (11) keep his brother, Cody Hilliar (8) off his heels to the Golden boot this year or can Cameron Scott (7) take the chance to get within sniffing distance?? Jai May (5) leads the way for the Reserves but again being chased very closely by brothers, Cody & Jarred Newald on 2 each. Up the Eagles!!
