04.01.2022 I’m a really big fan of the landmine press for many reasons and I love using this variation with my clients. The standing variation demonstrated above is a great introduction into pressing particularly with individuals who may struggle with pain in overhead pressing movements. I like to think of this exercise as hybrid of vertical and horizontal pressing due to the nature of which the bar travels.... The unilateral loading will not only build strong healthy shoulders it will also challenge the trunk by resisting rotational forces.
