25.01.2022 Some belongings that were left at the pool last night. Towel was hanging over the front gate and the ribbons were left on the edge of the heated pool. Please collect if they belong to you.

22.01.2022 Australia Day Triathlon Summary Thank you to everyone that participated in the Quilpie Swimming Club Australia Day Triathlon We had a good turn out of competitors, helpers and volunteers.... Triathlon participants and results are attached Special thanks to all the volunteers who assisted with preparing for the triathlon and on the day. We also like to thank our sponsors that assisted us with either prizes or other donations to allow us run the triathlon. Quilpie Shire Council The Flying Therapist Quilpie Butchers All About Aquatics Bulloo River Ice Paulsen Bros Meads Outback Custom Creations We had quite a few raffle prizes on the day and we hope that all they winners enjoy them. The money raised for the club has helped with covering insurance fees, and updating equipment for the club.

19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, due to predicted storms and heavy rain, swimming club will be cancelled for this week. Enrolment forms are available at the pool prior to next week’s meet if you are keen to enrol. We also welcome potential new members to come along next week and try it out.

19.01.2022 Tonight was the last swim club night for 2019. Thank you to all parents who have helped each swim club night. Swim club can’t happen without your help. Well done to all swimmers. They have all worked hard to improve their PB’s this year.

16.01.2022 Swim club tonight 10m, 12m, 15m, 25m and 50m of all strokes. Reminder to arrive at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start. ... If you haven’t swim this club season yet please arrive at 5:00pm so we can put your kids details into the system. Reminder season fees are $10 per term or $20.00 for the season per child (all ages). These fees hoes towards trophies.

14.01.2022 Not only are we hosting a triathlon and selling scrumptious bacon and egg burgers tomorrow....we have a raffle with some great locally donated prizes. Thank you to the individuals and businesses that have supported us. $2.00 a ticket. Drawn after the Australia Day awards ceremony

01.01.2022 Quilpie Swim Club would like to thank the organisers, volunteers, competitors and spectators for helping us have a successful Austraia Day Triathlon.

01.01.2022 Due to pool closure tomorrow and the current situation Club championships and trophy night for 2020 is canelled. On behalf of the committee please pass on our biggest congratulations to all the swimmers for their efforts and improvement over the season. We also like to say a big thank you to all of you as parents for the assistance on club nights with all the roles you have helped with. The club nights can't run without your help. ... I would like to say a special thanks to Gina, and Lauren for all your support and coordinating of the behind the scenes requirements to run the club. A big massive huge thank you to Alisha for the computer side this season. There will be a few more of us trained up by next season to help out. Thank you to Kerri Vagg for suggesting and organising the triathlon and others who helped at the triathlon fundraiser as this helped cover the costs of the insurance so we don't have to pay the Qld Swimming Fees to be cover. Overall it has saved for each child between $25-$60 on additional fees above the club fees. We will be posting out a certificate to each swimmer that shows their improvement over the season soon. The current committee will meet soon as well to finalise the season as discuss items for next season. If you have any feedback or suggestions please let us know. In the meantime stay healthy and well and looking forward to seeing you all again next season. Regards Alina
