21.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY ORDINATION OF PASTOR ADEBOYE AS PASTOR OF THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD We are throwing it back to the 1970s, when the Founder and Fir...st General Superintendent of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi was anointing Pastor Enoch Adeboye during his ordination as a pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. Pastor Adeboye gave his life to Christ in 1973 when he joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He served in the Church and was interpreting Pastor Josiah Akindayomi's messages from Yoruba to English. He manifested an incredible passion for the work of the Lord by organizing Bible Study meetings, crusades, revivals, outreaches and evangelistic programs which proved to be very successful. Since the day Pastor Akindayomi first saw Pastor Adeboye and sensed it in his spirit, coupled with Pastor Adeboye's passion for God's work, he was convinced that Pastor Adeboye was the man meant to succeed him. In 1981, Pastor Akindayomi passed away. Afterwards, Pastor Adeboye became the Churchs General Overseer based on an instruction left by Akindayomi prior to his death. Since then, God has used Pastor Adeboye to bring tremendous growth and impact to the Church. Through him, many lives have been saved. Today, the Redeemed Christian Church of God has several branches in over 196 nations all over the world. According to Pastor Adeboye, he wants to plant a Redeemed Church within five minutes walking distance in Developing countries and five minutes driving distance in Developed countries. Pastor Adeboye is a Spiritual Father, Mentor, Pastor, Leader to many people all over the world and considered to be one of the most influential pastors in Nigeria and the world. 12.01.2022 Friends, many of you have been writing to me with questions about a COVID-19 vaccine. This weeks announcement that a Letter of Intent has been signed between o...ur government and AstraZeneca for a vaccine raises some important ethical questions because the vaccine in question makes use of a cell line cultured from an electively aborted human foetus. Whether this vaccine is successful or not, it is important that the government does not create an ethical dilemma for people. Along with the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney and the Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Australia, I have written to the Prime Minister Scott Morrison, asking the government to pursue similar arrangements for alternate vaccines that do not raise the same ethical concerns, so that Australians will have a choice when it comes to vaccination. There are currently 167 vaccines being researched, many of which do not use foetal cells in their development. It is in the best interests of the community that vaccination is widely taken up and this deadly disease defeated, and this will better be achieved if the vaccines available do not create an ethical quandary. Ill have more to say on this in next weeks Catholic Weekly. In the interim, you might like to make your desire for an ethical vaccine known to your local MP.

I then saw Gods people from all walks of life and ages coming out of the hidden places, as they did each person had in their hands a manuscript that was given to them by the Lord. This manuscript was the divine play that ushers in the kingdom of heaven. Each person had the part they have to play highlighted by His Glory. Each part was important no matter how big or small, together each made the play complete. I saw all of heaven applauding, waiting in great expectation for what was about to unfold. I laughed and laughed and laughed! I laughed because of all the Drama That will follow after. I laughed because they want to understand The secret of the Blessings of the Church! I laughed because they would be seriously dribbled By the Heavens! How can they even contemplate this in their thoughts? Understanding the Secret of the Blessing of the Church? How can they know from where the Ravens were bringing The Bread and the Meat for Elijah! They would eventually be confused. How can they ever understand How Jesus Christ got the Bread to feed The 5000 men without counting Women and Children? How would they ever understand the multiplying Of Five Loaves of Bread and Two Fishes to feed thousands. How would they ever Understand The Turning of Water in the Six Pots to Fresh Wine To Serve the Guests at a Wedding Receptions? How would they ever be able to Audit the Feeding Of the Millions in the Wilderness Twice per day For Forty years non-stop.? My Country-People, this is why I laughed at their Wisdom? Apostle Johnson Suleiman said The Tithes and Offering of his church Was what was used for The Diesel to power the Generator of the Church! That is what They are coming to Audit! The Money for Diesel. They didnt know how Winners Chapel Was able to build two World Class Universities? They did know how they Built World Class Medical Centres. They didnt know how Redeemed Church Built University And highly furnished Medical Centres for the Public. They Didnt know how Mountain of Fire Built University. They didnt know how Deeper Life built their Universities! They didnt know how Foursquare Gospel Church, CAC, Apostolic Faith, and many Churches are building Educational Institutions from the scratch to the top and their Lecturers Are not going on strikes, because they are well paid. Churches Build Medical Centres, Churches make kilometres of roads. Churches build Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Addicts, And Churches build Empowerment Centres for Widows and Converted Sex Workers. THESE ARE ALL WHAT THEY WANT TO AUDIT. They want to AUDIT how MFM built a Professional Soccer Team And became one of the best in Nigeria and One of the Champions of Clubs in Africa. In a matter of two months, MFM built Women BasketBall Team and went ahead To Represent Nigeria in an International competition. THEY WOULD AUDIT THAT TOO. How many Pastors in Nigeria have Private Jets sef? Are they up to Five or Seven out of thousands of Pastors preaching the Gospel all over Nigeria. And what do THEY think the Pastors are using the Jets to do? To play around? Do THEY expect, for instance, a Man who Oversees Churches in more than 180 Nations of the World to queue at airports and buy tickets And be subjected to cancellations of flights? And how many Young Musicians have Private Jets And there is no Noise about it? THESE ARE WHAT THEY WANT TO AUDIT! They Would audit Thousands of Missionaries Sent across the whole world to remote Places of the Earth to preach the Gospel of Jesus. I was once in the Europe Missions Conference in France And Nigerian Missionaries came to the Conference From all corners of the world sponsored by a Nigerian Church. Many Missionary Pastors with their families Have travelled and lived in many nations sponsored and financed by Churches Being transferred from nations to nations, establishing Churches and Fellowship centres wherever they go. WHY do the Heathens Rage And the People Imagine Vain Things sef? He that sits on the Circle of the Earth would Look down from the Throne and Laugh them to Scorn. NOW LET ME TELL YOU WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE AUDITING EVENTUALLY STARTS Tithes and Offering will Reduce drastically. People will now begin to pay The Tithes and Offerings Directly to Our Fathers In the Lord! FOR INSTANCE ME, I WILL NOW BEGIN TO PAY MY TITHES DIRECTLY TO MY FATHERS IN THE LORD AND THEIR FAMILIES. 04.01.2022 DAILY CAPSULE 19th August, 2020 SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL!... Dearly beloved, from today, you will begin to experience great increase in every area of your life in Jesus Name When God said in JOB 8:7(NKJV) "Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly ( greatly)" He is only trying to teach us that the only failure in life is the one who will not want to start in a small way or start anything at all. He is trying to teach us that the only one who will not experience abundant increase is the one who refuses to recognise that starting anything in a small way is beautiful! He made that statement to teach or ask us to learn from Him. For example: 1. God started the earth in a small way. He started the earth out of nothing because it was without form. God was not discouraged at all and see how greatly the world has increased today - GEN 1: 1-2 You want to start a family? Learn to start small. Don't go a borrowing to have an elaborate wedding ceremony because you want to impress the world that you are starting 'big'. Any marriage you start with borrowed money is not likely to survive! Learn to start small 2. Jesus also started his ministry in a small way. He did not start with the seventy disciples ( LK 10:1), He did not start with the one hundred and twenty disciples (ACTS 1:15), or with as many as have become his disciples today. He started with only twelve ( MK 6:7, MT 10:2) simply to teach us that everything grows with time. From twelve disciples you can imagine how greatly His disciples have increased all over the world today! Learn to start small and give God the opportunity to bring the increase - 1COR 3:6 3. You want to start a career, business or ministry? Learn to start from the small part. Don't take a huge loan because you want to start big. Remember Jesus did not start His miracles by cleansing the leper or raising the dead. He started by turning water into wine - JH 2:1-11 Learn to start small because a business or ministry you start with a very huge debt portfolio is not likely to survive. Why? Your profit may never be enough to pay the interest on the capital especially in a place like Nigeria 4. Some christians have forever remained dependent on other church members for their daily survival because they kept telling themselves "they have nothing". It is people like this that God was trying to teach a lesson about starting with whatever you have now in 2 KGS 4:3 " So Elisha said to her ...what do you have in the house?" And she said " your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil" Elisha's instruction to her was to go and start with that jar of oil. We all know the end of this widow's story! Go and start with the little money you have. My wife and I to the glory of God launched into the business world with only N70,000 of our personal money and we have never had any cause to regret that action. We could have used that money to eat or do something else! Please locate your own jar of oil and start off today. Be rest assured that with God you are not going to fail - DEUT 8:18. Enough of eating your investment seeds. Plant it today! WHY DO YOU NEED TO START SMALL? 1. Starting small helps you to exercise your faith. It helps you to place a demand on God and His word 2. If you start small and anything goes wrong you can easily correct your mistakes without causing much damage 3. If you start small, you are likely to attract helpers of destiny at that level than when you start big and everyone thinks you have arrived 4. Starting small affords you the opportunity to depend more on God for ideas that bring increase 5. Starting small gives you room to always give glory to God when you see the increase coming In conclusion, the journey of a thousand miles usually starts with one little step. I will encourage you to allow your first step to be unto Jesus Christ. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus pleasedo so now .
