21.01.2022 Today we would like to acknowledge the recent achievements of one of our beautiful Volunteers Nicky Taylor. Nicky recently celebrated her NINE YEAR anniversary of volunteering at RMHC Sydney! We would like to say a big thank you to Nicky for her endless kindness, compassion, empathy and dedication to supporting all of the families in any way she can for over almost a decade now. Nicky is part of our incredible Homemaker Team, helping to make our House a home for families and... sick kids. Nicky describes Volunteering as ‘very rewarding’, saying ‘I get as much back from it as what I give’. When looking back on her time at the House, Nicky reflected on the special friendships she has been able to form with other volunteers and how volunteering has now become part of her life. Nicky would like to say to anyone thinking about volunteering at RMHC Sydney to ‘give it a go, there are lots of opportunities if you want to help’. Nicky, THANK YOU for being YOU! 10.01.2022 Not everyone gets to take their newborn home straight away. Nehemiah, along with her mum and dad, arrived at our House on October 23 ... just a few days after she was born. She had a tough time after her operation but now, after a month, we are so excited to see them finally going home! Although farewells are always a bit sad and we all fell in love with Nehemiah, we couldn't be happier to see mum and dad finally taking their baby home. We will miss you!!

This is a paid opportunity to assist children returning to school after serious illness or injury. We need help from primary teachers in:... Googong and Holder in the ACT. Secondary teachers are currently required in: San Souci, Beacon Hill, Earlwood, Milperra, Carlton and Seaforth. As this is a contractor role you’ll need a valid WWCC and ABN (or be willing to obtain one). We provide support and on-boarding. Are you the person we're looking for?
