Look forward to seeing you all back at pembroke park If you havent registered or joined up yet it's not too late as we have many weeks left Message the page if interested and we can send you details State multi event (will have information for those interested in Friday or again message page and I can email thru the details) This year state multi will be held at penguin It is due u9 athletes and up and is based on a decathlon like scoring system Entries are now open for the State Multi-Event Championships. These Championships are open to all Under 9 to Under 15 registered athletes. This season, we are trialling a team based Multi-Event Championship in addition to the regular Individual Multi-Event Championship. Athletes may do either the Individual or Team Multi-Event Championship or they may elect to do both. Note that it you do both the Individual Championship and Team Championship, you will still only do each Individual Event (eg 800m, Hurdles, Long Jump etc) in your age group once but your result from that event will count towards both the Individual and Team Championships. Full instructions on how to enter both the Individual and Team Multi-Event Championship (or both) are on the attached State Multi-Event Championships Event Explanation PDF document. This document also explains how the team event will work. Also attached are the Team Entry Form and Additional Athlete Nomination form (for athletes wishing to do the team event that cannot form a full team at their Centre). Note that these two forms need to be lodged through your Centre (similar to the way Relay team forms are lodged through Centres). 04.01.2022 SEASON 2020 21 UPDATE. Hello All, we are just writing to you to say we have been working hard behind the scenes and planning the upcoming 2020 21 Little Athletics Season. We have a bit of information to share. In August we held our AGM and our new committee (we still need some new people to join and fill some roles, so if your available, and would like this current committee to help ease you into it, we would love to have you onboard. ) ... Elected Committee is President/Public officer: Geoffrey Jackson Secretary: VACANT Treasurer: Melinda Nichols Records and Rankings : Selina Kooistra Registrations: Kylie Rawson Technical requirements/Ground Manager: Stuart Nichols MPIO - Vacant General Committee: Michael Kent, Scott Rawson Congratulations to all those involved in the past, and moving forward this season. Please reach out if you would like to keep our club moving forward. Season Dates : We will be starting FRIDAY 30th OCTOBER, dates attached in photo. We will be running 18 meets, but if one is cancelled we will not be trying to catch it up this season. Concluding March 19th with our presentation. Presentation for 2019 / 20 season: we are looking at doing this on a Friday evening in October, will keep you all posted. Canteen : The club is seeking expressions of interest from people willing to run the canteen, and will soon advertise for people to pay the club a set amount, and then run the canteen as a business for themselves for our athletes. If you know people who do this please have them contact the club. Registrations: The portal for everyone opens Friday 11th September to register for upcoming season, Registrations are same as last year (no fee increase) and we are trying to organise a raffle which we will hand out to athletes. Tiny Tots 3,4 and 5yo $40 Athletes u6-15s - $110 plus u6 up will be required to purchase a $40 club top Grants : the club has applied for the Coles grant for a brand new scissor mat which will help our athletes in the Scissor kick and give them more time to land than on our thick mat we currently have. We have also applied for some extra field implements from the Governments Covid grant to limit sharing in field events, and lessen the burden on Age group co Ordinator's on wiping down.
