23.01.2022 You feel like your ex needs to pay! But you didn't split up to keep arguing you split up to stop arguing and at BrightSide we get that. So we wont drag you in to a long ugly court fight.... At BrightSide we avoid court and charge you an agreed fee so you have control, you save money and you get a quicker result. And in the end it's all about you living your best life not giving all your money to lawyers and spending three years in the court system. So don't go to Court, go to BrightSide.

15.01.2022 Gwyneth Paltrow has written about what she was trying for when she split with Chris Martin. Such fantastic sentiments and so on the mark with what we are trying to do at BrightSide. It really is so gratifying to hear from people who think like we do and thankfully we are hearing it more and more often! https://brightsidefamilylaw.com.au//self-conscious-uncoup/

14.01.2022 NOT SO SILENT NIGHT! As Christmas draws near coparenting gets harder so we have a few tips to stop it becoming the fighting season. Even if you have been going along ok with your ex it is quite common for fights over access to the kids to blow up at this time of year.... Mediation is a great way to establish some rules you can both live with. Which means less fighting and less stress for everyone. https://brightsidemediation.com.au//19/not-so-silent-night/

11.01.2022 We know that divorce and separation is hard and it is something you have to do rather than something you want to do, So at BrightSide we try to make the process as easy as it can possibly be. And the upside of that is it's much less harrowing for everyone involved, as well as being cheaper and quicker.

06.01.2022 Is the Deal Off? Can I change my existing property split because of Corona Virus? A great article in The Times of London got us thinking about what the global pandemic has done to people's property splits and what they can do about it So we have done up a little summary of the rules around changing court orders and childcare payments in WA. ... We have also included a copy of The Times article partly because even uber rich Robert De Niro is crying poor and partly because it has some good examples of the kind of reasons you would need to change your court orders. https://brightsidefamilylaw.com.au/20//24/the-deal-is-off/

05.01.2022 We saw this article on WA Today the other day and it just reinforced to us why you do not want to go to court if you can avoid it. These people are fighting over a dog! We all love our fur babies, but there must be a better way to sort something out than this.... Now that they are in the 'system' they have lost all control and have ended up in the Supreme Court, which could cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars and a lot of angst. Thats why we tell our people to stay out of court!

02.01.2022 NO PRE NUP? NO WORRIES. GET YOUR SELF A POST NUP If you have complicated financial needs - like a family business or a partnership - or you need to hold on to an asset - for example the family home until the kids are grown up - a Binding Financial Agreement is what you need. Its kind of a Pre Nup for after you have separated. A Post Nup https://brightsidefamilylaw.com.au//28/no-pre-nup-no-worr/
