19.01.2022 In response to this weeks announcement by Tourism Noosa that Noosa Eat & Drink 2020 is cancelled we have decided to reduce things to a simmer. Our plan was to launch the Tastes of Noosa cookbook to a captive audience at the Festival. With these uncertain times ahead, we have decided to take Tastes of Noosa out of the pressure cooker, reduce it to a simmer and postpone the launch until things start to pick up. Once we can see the temperature change in the market and normal ...activities are being resumed, we will then turn up the heat! If youre on our mailing list or if youre a contributor, you should have received an email from us with the full details. If you have any questions or would still like to be involved when things heat up again, please get in touch by emailing us at [email protected] Stay healthy and keep enjoying great, local food.

18.01.2022 We know things are uncertain and many are doing it tough right now. We want you to know that were here to support you! In the face of social distancing, self-isolation and doing what we can to prevent further spread of this virus, social connection and a strong sense of community is what will see our local economy remain bouyant and bounce back quicker. Although weve decided to postpone the launch of Tastes of Noosa, our social media channels will remain active. So please ...let us know of any news that we can share with our audiences that will help our community - whether its updating locals on changing shopping hours, extended take away menus or the addition of delivery to your service - theres plenty of helpful news to spread around! The easiest way to let us know is to tag us Tastes of Noosa and In Noosa Magazine. If youre a shopper or diner - ask your local food providores, cafes or restaurants if theyre offering take away or delivery options and keep supporting local business. Lets all continue to enjoy delicious, local food and support our regional food producers and eateries. Stay healthy and eat well Deb.

15.01.2022 SAVOUR PRO Q&A: Whats your favourite local ingredient to work with and why? Pine. For a few reasons: 1. It represents the area, there are so many pine trees in the region. 2. We love to get out in nature and go foraging whenever we can. 3. Its an ingredient unique to us.... 4. Its our logo, we try to create a balance between nature, art and flavour with our food. 5. Its a memory for us. Pine reminds us of family time, typically Christmas at home in the UK. Check out all the delectable goodness at @savourpro Want to be in the cookbook too? Theres still time! Email [email protected] for an Info Pack to find out how you can be involved in something special! #TastesofNoosa See more
