23.01.2022 We are devastated with the bushfires in Australia. Especially the South Coast of NSW where we have a property that is thankfully safe however we have dear friends affected by the fires. We have made donations to both the RFS and to WIRES If you can make any donation big or small please donate. And most importantly when its safe to do so revisit the communities affected by fires go with empty eskies buy from the shops, fill up at the servos, eat at the clubs, cafes help these communities rebuild. This is the busy time of the year for them all and they have lost a lot of business. : Matthew Abbott

20.01.2022 The one part of my house I didnt work on was solar panels. Laura found this this morning called the fire brigade and she shut the mains power down which would usually be right however solar panels are continuous power until the panels are shut off. This was most likely caused by a hot join in the wiring or faulty isolator or a combination of both. Glad all is ok fire brigade were able to shut off the panels by getting on the roof.

19.01.2022 Some recent work in a restaurant Chef Binass kitchen updating and fixing some of their lighting. Couldnt help myself but have lunch as well and first time trying Napalese food and it was very nice! Definitely recommend trying!

15.01.2022 Apologises to anyone in advance getting an appliance installed from me soon. My trailer got written off this morning (thankfully no one was injured a truck ran into it) but it could delay some appliance installs until I sort out a new trailer or i can fit it in my van.

14.01.2022 Here is another risky one - Customer called to say they smelt a funny smell and they have had their safety switch tripping for days and kept turning it on themselves. Pls call us if your safety switch trips and you dont know the reason and never turn it back on yourself. The safety switch is there to pick up a fault so is designed to trip.

14.01.2022 Something a bit off topic but close to me. We have a holiday house on the south coast of NSW in Sussex Inlet. Now while our home is safe from the fire the community has taken a huge hit from these fires (as have many communities on the south coast). We request if youre sick please rebook, we will accomodate all rebookings at the earliest convenient time for you. If you have returned back from holiday from a high risk area please reschedule you may not be aware of your contamination and you may forget to tell the health authorities we have been in contact with you for us to be made aware. ... Our staff all have hand sanitizer in their vehicles and will be using it before entering properties and then when they return to their vehicles.
