20.01.2022 Cleaning up and found another box full of reminders .... its another stop motion animation we started years ago and never finished called Waiting all in pretty bad condition sadly

19.01.2022 4 days now and computers are churning along.... We are now able to focus in on the editing and make some long needed decisions.. Feels good.

18.01.2022 Having a clean up and Just never realised how many moulds we had made over the past years and there's are many more scattered under the house and other places a...nd full body ones too big to move. Many of them are characters from our stop motion films mainly Wombok Forest we even had to make an oven to "bake" the foam latex. See more

18.01.2022 We need to finish Wombok Forest it has been too long....... we started in 2004. Thinking of going for crowd funding to get the colour correction and sound mix done mmmmmmmmm we are trying to do everything ourselves and it's hurting especially when i see images like this

17.01.2022 Somebody said to try editing in b&w ....... and we have gone back to Final Cut 7 after years of FCPX and now trying the old analogue monitor that we had on set through the animating. So far it is working x and we are working together on it ..... anyone who knows us would know the struggle we have had with that for a while now.

16.01.2022 Brand new drive.... Within half an hour we get this....trying again. Swapped drive into another bay, see if this works!

13.01.2022 And our sadly neglected shelves of puppets and props etc from Wombok Forest are about to get a glass cabinet ... maybe we will finish that film now or at least we will have more room for our robot building fetish

13.01.2022 We are taking on a lot more work so our time on Wombok Forest is a little limited these days. Hopefully after April we will be able to dedicate a few months to getting serious about finishing. Might need to rent a pace far far away to help with the focus. Keep you posted. j&m

09.01.2022 Back onto Wombok Forest now after many months away doing other jobs. We are feeling good just got to do the sound, which after three years of tearing our hair out we are finally to some agreement as to how we should approach this. We are excited about a few new added bits we will be playing with and generally quite excited about getting back. We have taken the pressure off us to "perform" and have remembered why we make the work we do, collaborate and why we are so terribly independent. We tossed away the pegasus that had given us so much grief for a little datatale storage with no raid....we take a risk but so far it is pretty smooth. We tossed away the soundtrack we had already done..... we tossed away the edit we had already done.... it is good we feel fresh. J&M

07.01.2022 another red light appears! tried swapping hardrives around see if it was a heat problem but ...no go this time. Having to rebuild system again! blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
