Your vehicle will choke to death on old sludgy oil and that there is life threatening & very very expensive. ... The role of Engine Oil is to lubricate moving parts within the motor, so if the oil is not drained and replace with new quality oil at regular intervals it will turn to sludge and therefore won't be able to lubricate the moving parts. 08.01.2022 It's that time of the year we see more of this.... The extent of repairs required in this event can vary drastically, so it's important to be an aware motorist. How, you say? 1 Keep an eye on your temperature gauge/light when driving. Some cars have them as a gauge on the dash other cars have a light that will come on if the car is running hot, so watch for this and stop if the temp rises... 2 If you notice a lot of water under your vehicle on the driveway, pop the bonnet and top up the overflow water bottle and radiator and bring it into your mechanic As a side note, ensure your servicing is up to date and NOT overdue.

05.01.2022 Oh no, Oh no, Oh no Is your oil light on? Is it on permanently or intermittent? This could be happening for 1 of 3 reasons... 1 Engine Oil Level is Low 2 Faulty Oil Pressure Switch 3 Sludge due to the lack of servicing (refer to post on 22nd June) OR 4 Genie has left the bottle Whatever you do, please don't ignore this and don't put a sticker over the light (yep, we have had cars come in like that). The light is on for a reason

But how, how do you look after your wiper blades between servicing Make sure your Washer Bottle is always full, you don't want to wipe your blades across a dry screen When you top up your Water use a Windscreen Cleaner product as an additive - we use and recommend Wurth product for this. ... Extend your wiper blades lifespan by regularly cleaning your windscreen (using them), keeping them supple If you are unsure, give us a buzz for advice and lastly, AVOID using colour and cheap blades as they will not last and even pop off and scratch your screen... ending in costly repairs
