20.01.2022 COVID-SAFE UPDATE Hi 12RND'ers! In positive news, thanks to the efforts of everyone across Greater Brisbane, our club will be back open as of tomorrow morning, as of 5AM, and continuing under normal trading hours.... Further to our existing Covid-Safe measures, as of tomorrow both members and coaches are required to wear masks inside the club, and during their workout. This requirement will remain in place until the 22nd of January. We are currently awaiting further clarification to the Government's statements regarding wearing masks during "strenuous exercise" and whether or not this applies to our training. Until we receive this clarification, to ensure your safety and adherence with our Government mandate, both members and coaches must wear their masks in the club and during the workout throughout this time. Should this change, we will be sure to update you as soon as possible. As always our team will be here to guide you to ensure you have an effective workout. 19.01.2022 Hi 12RND Fam! As you are aware the original government advice was for a planned reopening of gyms on June 15. The Palaszczuk Government has TODAY announced gyms can now reopen June 1 at 12pm.... Your health and safety is more important to us than just rushing the re-opening of the gym and given such short notice we aren’t in a position to open this week. Management will be meeting in the morning to establish a sped-up action plan for reopening sooner than we had originally expected. There are obviously many considerations from staffing rosters, covid management plans, cleaning & membership reactivation to name a few important aspects to be completed prior to opening to ensure that you all get the 12RND experience you know & love! We understand that everyone is excited and pumped to return to training in club, though correct measures must and will be implemented before the doors open for everyone. We ask you to please be patient whilst we go through this re-opening phase!

17.01.2022 Looking for a meat-free alternative to your favourite chicken wings? These cauliflowers bites are the perfect accompaniment to Friday night footy! Ingredients head cauliflower cut into florets... cup water cup milk of choice 1 cup flour 1 scoop True WPC80 Natural tsp salt tsp pepper tsp paprika 1-2 cups panko breadcrumbs 1 cup bbq/hot sauce OR cup crushed tinned tomatoes 1 tsp garlic powder tsp liquid smoke cup liquid sweetener (such as rice malt syrup) cup lemon juice Sesame seeds to garnish Method Chop the cauliflower gently into little bite sized pieces and set aside. In a medium bowl add the water, milk, flour, protein powder and mix until smooth and thickish (shouldn't run off the spoon easily) Adjust with either more milk or flour to make thick or thinner. (You want to be able to dip the cauliflower in and have it coated). Add the spices and taste, adjust to your preference. Place the breadcrumbs into a medium bowl. Prepare a baking dish lined with non-stick paper & preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Once you have the desired taste and the right texture of the batter dip each cauliflower floret into the mixture until fully coated, allow the excess to drip off & the roll into breadcrumbs until fully coated. Place onto the baking tray. *TIP: Allow enough space between each piece so they don't get soggy. Bake for 35 minutes until crispy & browned. While they're cooking either place your BBQ/ hot sauce into a bowl or add the remaining ingredients together (except sesame seeds) and place into a bowl. Remove from oven and carefully coat the cauliflower in the sauce (the easiest way is to put them all in the bowl and gently stir the sauce over each piece). Once coated add the pieces back onto the tray and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top- cook for another 15 minutes. (If you want more crunch you can extend cooking time to 20-25 minutes). We are very happy to share that the Queensland Government has confirmed people of greater Brisbane do not need to wear a mask indoors when doing strenuous exercise such as interval training. This means that from NOW you will not need to wear your mask during your 12RND workout as our training is strenuous and includes interval training. ... This detail has been confirmed with the QLD Health Department via the phone with our 12RND Head Office this morning and can be found on the QLD Government link https://www.qld.gov.au//public/restrictions-impacted-areas. We still ask that you wear your mask to the club and inside the club before and after the workout from today until 1am on the 22nd of January.
