12.01.2022 Just add water. We’ve been creating a new swamp with Geoff and the Jabirus in Cairns, transforming part of a former cane farm and sand mine into a diverse bird habitat. It’ll be teeming with local birdlife once the summer rain fills ‘er up!

11.01.2022 Queenslanders can pay their vehicle registration renewals more easily with a one-month term now available via direct debit! Nearly one in five customers told us they'd prefer monthly registration instalments, so we've made it happen. Choose from 1, 3, 6 or 12-month registration options when using direct debit. 07.01.2022 #MaritimeSafetyQld threw out a challenge to our partner agencies to see who could put on their lifejacket the fastest for #NationalSafeBoatingWeek Seqwater absolutely blew us out of the water with their attempt and Australian Maritime Safety Authority - AMSA came a close second. 04.01.2022 The one coloured map you *really* need to see. There are still hundreds of Queensland drivers out there with recalled Takata airbags. We're not going to mention any names but the map kind of speaks for itself

01.01.2022 UPDATE: Thank you for your help Queenslandwe've tracked down the family and we've been able to assure them that their memorials will be taken care of until we can return them to their place on Bowen Developmental Road. We couldn't have done it without you. *** An appeal to the public.... Can you help us find the owners of these roadside memorials north of Mount Coolon? One of the memorials has a small brass plate affixed to it with the words My Mum Love Kye. As part of progressive sealing works of the Bowen Developmental Road, we need to remove the memorials until August 2021. We'll be returning the memorials to their original location (or as close as possible subject to safety requirements) but we'd like to inform the people who placed the memorials about their temporary removal and storage in TMR’s Mount Coolon depot. If you know who may have placed these memorials please contact our Mackay Office on 4951 8534 or 0418 970 165, or email [email protected] with the subject line Bowen Developmental Road memorials.

01.01.2022 You ever get the feeling you're being watched?
