17.01.2022 What's your views on Pauline Hanson wearing a burka in Parliament to highlight the outrageous suppression of woman and the security risk it poses in Australia ? Not to mention the b.s political correctness stopping most from having the courage to speak the truth ? For me... Wearing a full face burka does not gel with Australian values and political correctness has gone so far beyond belief that we now have support the suppression of woman to be political correct. What a joke. And it's not religious intolerance to not support the burka. It's nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the control and suppression of woman. I may not agree like many with many things Pauline Hanson says but I must say on this matter "Well done Pauline " The suppression of woman using bullshit religious ideology is not something I support nor should any Fair and reasonable Australian. I have many Muslim mates but not one of them demand their girlfriends or wives wear full face Burkas. So to suggest opposing such measures is religious intolerance is a joke. Practice whatever religion you want as long as it doesn't suppress others particularly women. What else are we meant to support about nations that live almost in the dark ages that treat women as second class citizens to remain politically correct? 13.01.2022 I want a debate in this country about the introduction of Universal Basic Income where everyone rich or poor gets paid about $1500 per month eventually from the profits of our nation so basic living conditions are covered. $1000 per month to start with for those 21 or older. 13.01.2022 Im pleased to see the 21st Century Australia Policy Idea of a Universal Basic Income (UBI) is being passionately debated. To provide a UBI in Australia starting at a $1000 per month to every Australian whether they are rich or poor would cost about $160 billion PA. We already spend $158 billion on welfare rising to $192 billion by 2018. Welfare alone could fund the majority of it and the welfare epidemic in this country could be brought to an end of those working to suppo...rt those that arent.Mark Zuckerberg is a big fan of it as is Elon Musk and many others.Debate is healthy for society, more so if its by those that firstly bother to understand the idea being debated and secondly are willing to provide a better solution before they dismiss this one. In absence of better ideas then I believe ideas such as this must be considered. To ignore the problem robotics and automation will bring (plus an ageing population) such as potential large scale unemployment is certainly not good policy as denialism never is. Nor is it ethical to continue to support the current system that despite plenty of abundance in the world sees many without proper food, shelter, safety, health and education. To support no changes to a system that fills the coffers off the military complex to fund their criminal activities of war ahead of the greater good is s clear injustice I will not support and nor should you.
