21.01.2022 Good morning to all staff and cadets. I hope you are all going well in these unprecedented times. Please don’t forget ANZAC Day tomorrow. Please be in full Ceremonials for those who have them. Also don’t forget to take photos of yourself doing the Dawn service. It would be great if you can also post them on our private Facebook page. They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.... Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them Lest we forget. If you tune into ABC radio at 5:55am you will be able to follow the service. Hope to see you all soon. TOOC Chris Ross 70ACU Larrakeyah

16.01.2022 Multi-Rotor Unmanned Aircraft System (MRUAS) Basic Flight Training is one of the activities offered by the Australian Army Cadets (AAC) to provide an engaging, inclusive and highly challenging application of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This activity is aimed at providing safe and effective instruction on multi-rotor unmanned aircraft in the AAC, which embraces emerging technologies in a systematic, safe and effective training environment, with ...a view towards improving the combined physical and digital cognitive function of Australian Army Cadets. Two of our cadets, Cdt Love Ferrer and Cdt Faith Ferrer participated in the first Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Camp held in Brisbane in January 2020. The camp was facilitated by AAC in consultation with the Army Drone Racing Team. The camp covered a range of topics including building a racing drone, practise of drone racing skills and culminated with a drone racing competition. The cadets also had the opportunity to be exposed to 20 STA Regiment who are the lead users of UAS within the Australian Army. Take a look at the video shared by Cdt Love and Faith Ferrer.
