20.01.2022 IMPORTANT Information .... Carpet repairs that require patching can only be done with spare matching existing carpet from the job site. Usually some can be sourced from the bottom of a built in wardrobe ( not a walk-in robe!). Buying a new piece of carpet from a shop for the repair will not provide a satisfactory result due to different dye batches. HINT: if the patch is bigger than dinner plate size or there is no spare matching existing carpet for the repair, consider replacing the carpet for the whole room.

It is essential to have spare matching carpet available for the repair - usually sourced from the floor inside a built in wardrobe or cupboard. Shade difference in the carpet will blend in time with light exposure and general wear.

06.01.2022 Hint for renovators or new home builders - if installing carpet ALWAYS keep some spare rolled up (not folded) and stored in a safe dry place OR ensure the same carpet is installed into built in robes. Why you ask? So that in the event of any small carpet damage within your rooms, there will be spare matching existing carpet for the repairs. Save money with repairs over replacing carpet for the whole room by having some spare matching carpet available.....you never know when you might need it.
