24.01.2022 Last one for this year .. next Wednesday, 27th November, we'll be holding our monthly singalong at the Navy Club in Fremantle. It's a "mixed bag" night, a collection of the most popular songs we've played over the course of the year. We'd love for as many people as possible to come along and make it a night to remember.



23.01.2022 Elvis lives. Come along to the Navy Club in Fremantle next Wednesday evening 28th August, 7-9pm, and join us as we sing a catalogue of Elvis songs. Elvis died in 1977 at the age of 42 and we celebrate his music 42 years on. Bring a guitar, bring a ukulele or bring a friend, but don't miss out.

23.01.2022 The Elvis night at the Navy Club on Wednesday night was a roaring success .... everyone who came along thoroughly enjoyed the music. We are back again on Wednesday 25th September with songs from the sixties. Look out for lots of doo wop music.

22.01.2022 Morning coffee singalongs at Zephyr tea rooms, on the river in East Fremantle, will commence next Sunday 2nd Feb, at 9.30am. Everyone is welcome to come and join us. Bring a uke, bring a guitar, or just come along to sing ..... it’s free and song books are supplied.

22.01.2022 The Beatles night at the Navy Club was brilliant. Good crowd, great music and lots of fun. Next month will be our last one for this year .... a selection of the songs we have played so far.

21.01.2022 Here we go again..... Navy Club next Wednesday 30th October for Beatles night. Come along and help us revive some of the best songs ever written. This promises to be our best night ever. See you there.



21.01.2022 It's on again, our singalong night at the Navy Club in Fremantle. Our theme for this month is "one hit wonders". Do you remember Galaxy or Paper Lace or Kincaid? No? But you'll remember their music, so get down to the Navy Club next Wednesday 29th and join us for some great songs and great memories. Bring a ukulele, a guitar or just your voice, but don't miss out.

17.01.2022 Our singalong nights will commence again on Wednesday 26th February at the brand new Workers Club building in Ellen St, Fremantle. Come and check out this fabulous new facility and enjoy an evening of music and fun as we sing our way through a stack of your favourite songs. Bring a uke, bring a guitar, bring a friend..... no music needed, just a willingness to have a go.

15.01.2022 Sunday morning, come on down. Every Sunday morning from 9.30 the Ukendoit crew will be hosting a jam session at the Zephyr tea rooms, on the river, in East Fremantle. We'll have some books to share so bring a uke or a guitar and join us for a coffee (or some breakfast) and sing along with us.

12.01.2022 Remember the swinging sixties? You're invited to come along to the Navy Club in Fremantle, next Wednesday 25th September at 7pm, as we work our way through the "sounds of the sixties". As usual, we'll have a wide variety of songs for you to sing and play so make the effort to come along and join in.

11.01.2022 Learn to play ukulele. Beginners course commencing Wednesday 9th October, 10-11am, at Cirque community centre, 63 Kishorn Rd, Mt Pleasant. Experienced (gentle) music teacher - $15/hour, group lessons. Call Alan on 0428 845 392 for details. Playing music is one of the best activities for your brain as it involves almost every brain system known to exist.



11.01.2022 One Hit Wonders .. another big night at the Navy Club last Wednesday. Many people commented how much they enjoyed the variety of songs played and the quality of the music on the night. Many thanks to Musicalele for their great support. We'll be there again on Wednesday 26th June for a night of country music ...yeehah.

10.01.2022 Anyone wanting to learn to play ukulele is welcome to come along to our beginners course at Palmyra primary school at 9.30am on Saturday mornings. The cost is $10 per person for group lessons and is a friendly, good fun experience. We also welcome intermediate players to our 10.30 session to expand their playing skills by learning various strumming techniques, finger picking, vocal harmony and improvisation.

09.01.2022 Remember the many Australian bands of the 70s and 80s? Sherbert, Skyhooks, Inxs, Cold Chisel, Air Supply Come along to the Navy Club next Wednesday 31st July at 7pm and join us as we relive the great songs of this era. Bring your ukulele or guitar and play along as we sing through a song list of great Australian music. See you there!

06.01.2022 Many thanks to those people who came to the Navy Club last night and helped me to celebrate my birthday. We covered more than 30 songs over the course of the evening and all of you sounded fantastic. Next month we'll pay tribute to the late, great Elvis Presley so I look forward to having all of you join me again at the Navy Club on Wednesday 28th August, when Elvis enters the room.
