21.01.2022 Today was our first day at the New South Wales Equestrian Centre and what a lovely fun day it was. First impressions sure do count and if the initial drive in along the lovely tree lined drive or the smell of fresh coffee and home cooked cake upon arrival and lovingly groomed and prepped arena was anything to go by.. Well we sure felt at home. Thank you Nicole for your hospitality and to our first group of riders at our Riders Day for joining us. ... We are looking forward to the next visit in 2 weeks. 19.01.2022 That marks the end of another great weekend clinic for us. Thank you to everyone who attended we hope you had lots of fun. This clinic was aimed at taking the next steps in training and confidence boosting and you all did a super job well done. Feel free to tag your self or add your own pics. ... 14.01.2022 Where it all started: 10 years ago today a young horseman from nsw central coast entered an arena packed with 1000's of people to join a competition to be australia's top horseman for that year. The deal was to select a unhandled, untouched young stock horse and break it in over 3 days in a packed arena with 3 other trainers. This intense prestigious competition is known as EQUITANA Australia The way of the horse ... 2010 a group of green clothed supporters sat nervously in the grandstand watching our friend enter the ring for the final day of competition. It was the final event of the weekend for equitana 2010 and it didn't disappoint. The contenders were. Steve HalfPenny, Chad Brady and our own Adam Sutton By the end of the session I know my eyes were not dry and I had no voice left from cheering my friend on. But finally Adam was declared the 2010 winner. In Adams own words this was his proudest moment as a horseman and the start of something very special. He had got out of his comfort zone and shared his amazing skills with the work entire nation and won. 09.01.2022 So many emotions are going through my mind now as I post this final blog from dear Johno and ‘The Blind Chick’ What an amazing 4 days we have had with these guys. Regaining new confidence was the brief and they sure nailed that job! Sue Ellen lovett you are truely an inspiration to us all with your huge huge gelding it was so special and we are so greatful for having the opportunity to assist you with your new path together. ... Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work along side you and guide you forward. You have lots of homework to do now. Ps tell your poor husband Marshalls Horse and Equestrian delivers those bridges and seasaws lol Johno made them look like miniature obstacles. It has truely been a pleasure meeting you both and your support Tanya. I'm just disappointed I only got to see the first day due to flight home!! Everyday I've enjoyed hearing Adams recap of the days lessons together and Fridays was no exception. You did an amazing job and yes Adam has that knack of pushing us all well out of our comfort zones in that special guided way!! Glad to hear your home safe after a long 5.5 hr drive home and we look forward to seeing how your homework goes and then back at it in January for round 2!! Our September Riders day out September Riders day out October, Riders day out November... till has some spots left. Weekend Training Camp- Foundations For Training.. in October has 2 rider slots left Central coast 3 day confidence and training camp is being finalised now with dates being advertised this weekend. Open training lessons Lochinvar have 2 vacancies for private lessons left. Confidence clinic and beach ride #3 november has 4 spots left. November will also see us headed to the lithgow/orange area for a 3 day camp as well as some private lesson/on stud days. December will see another wine,ride and dine camp Confidence Clinic #3 ride, wine and dine Fully Booked . Soo much on over the next 3 months. Hopefully something to suit everyone! I have been slowly updating our website with dates of future clinics and camps and training days. Hopefully something for everyone! Our training ropes are now coming in 4 great colours for those of us who love to match our gear. We now have aqua, purple, green, burgundy and... rainbow ropes about to hit our site. We can do 12 ft, 14ft and also our body ropes. Our telescopic training flags now come in green, yellow, red and blue. Our new line of T-shirts’ and hats are also in purple, aqua, pink and blue! Obviously, Ad doesn’t care as long as the tools are functioning. But omg I love Matchy Matchy!!
