20.01.2022 Can you find the violin and gamba in all the lights??

20.01.2022 In the light of current issues relating to COVID-19, Adelaide Baroque has decided to postpone concerts planned for the early months of 2020. This includes concerts which were collaborative events with both Valley Productions and the Elder Hall Evening Series in April as well as our own The Genius of Zelenka planned for May 18th. We are hopeful that as public health issues are resolved we can reschedule concerts for later in the year. We would like to reassure you that in th...e concert-free months ahead we will be planning for the time when we can resume performances in a safe environment. We will continue the quality performances which have become a feature of our newly formed Adelaide Baroque Orchestra. We have been very fortunate in 2020 to receive annual funding from the Department of Premier and Cabinet through Arts South Australia which has assured our viability in the near future. This has allowed us to develop a new website which we will launch very soon as well as assistance with marketing. Further, we have some exciting concerts planned for the second half of the year which we will announce shortly. We are very concerned that many freelance musicians we employ will be suffering financial hardship during the coming months. We assure you that we will be working behind the scenes so that we can employ them in the future. We wish you all well at this time and look forward to welcoming you to concerts later in the year. Then we will celebrate the joy that music brings us all.
