14.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart- but we know it's for the common good- that we announce that as of today, our B&B Accommodation will be closed indefinitely, due to the effects of the COVID-19 Virus. We haven't taken this decision lightly - in fact our hearts are broken, but we know this is the right response to the situation that is happening out there in our Communities, at the moment. The Government has asked that everyone simply adheres to the advice to STAY AT HOME unless... it is vital for "Essential Travel." Essential Travel, according to Scott Morrison's address from March 29th -see this link: https://www.facebook.com/watch/ A: Shopping for what you need- essential supplies and as infrequently as possible B: Medical Care or Compassionate Reasons C: Excercise in compliance with the public gathering rule D: Work and Education if you cannot work or learn remotely. Our B&B Accommodation, in our opinion and the opinion of our local Tourism Authorities, is "Non-Essential" and therefore instead of going away on a retreat, it is better for everyone in the State, that you stay at home at this time. I apologize for the post that you may have seen on this page over the course of the previous couple of weeks, promoting that we would be a perfect place to isolate during this time. Despite that fact that it IS a beautiful place to relax and escape from it all, the bigger picture in all this, is that from now on we have to do ALL we can to stop the spread of this Virus, and by welcoming Guests to our accommodation, it is not helping the cause. We, therefore, have changed our opinion on this and now see it more important to stop the spread of the Virus as the Number 1 priority here. If you have a booking in the near future with us, I am working my way through all our Bookings and will contact you to either defer your booking with us until later in the year or to offer you a Gift Voucher with a 2-year expiry date on it, to come back at a later date that suits you. We would certainly appreciate you accepting a Voucher over a refund if it is at all possible! I am so sorry about this, but I trust you will understand our situation. There are many of us in the Adelaide Hills who are taking the same steps to do our bit to contain the spread of this Virus and we appreciate your understanding in making this change. We will most certainly see this season as just pressing the "Pause Button" on things, and we foresee ourselves bouncing back with huge enthusiasm after this is all over.
