17.01.2022 The University of Sydney is conducting a research to understand the factors that influence how people with ADHD and their carers make decisions to take or not take medication, as well as to continue or not continue ADHD medication. Parents (of children up to 17 years who have ADHD), as well as adolescents (13 17 years), and adults (18 and above) who have been diagnosed with, and taking prescribed medication for, ADHD are eligible to take part in this study. 14.01.2022 Reminder July Meet - Helping reluctant others (and ourselves) Saturday 13th July, 2pm How do we help reluctant others or, indeed, ourselves?... If you have been diagnosed with ADHD and experienced the benefits of the right treatment, you may notice ADHD in others around you. You may try to discuss this with them, but find that they don't take any action. How can we motivate others, and ourselves, to address the issues affecting our lives? You may have heard of motivational interviewing and wondered what it was. Come along to our July meet to see a brief demonstration and learn some basic skills for motivating people to change. Location: Library at the Dock. The details Date and time Date: Saturday 13th July 2019 Time: 2pm - 4pm Cost $2 donation (or $1 concession) is appreciated to help us cover our costs, such as room rental!
