20.01.2022 FADIR hip test Hip pain can be a result of an intraarticular injury, which means inside the hip joint. These include osteoarthritis, hip labral tears and FAI impingements. The FADIR test, which is flexion, adduction and internal rotation, can provocate these internal structures.

17.01.2022 Low back pain and leg pain The straight leg raise test (SLR test) can help determine if the spinal nerves are getting irritated or compressed at the levels of L4/5 and/or L5/S1. Pain in the back and/or leg during the raising of the leg can be a positive sign.

13.01.2022 Thoracic spine immobility in neck pain complaints Reduced range of motion in the thoracic spine (mid back) will present as mid back stiffness and is common in those with neck pain and stiffness. Interventions directed at both the neck and mid back is standard in our physiotherapy approach to mechanical neck pain.

01.01.2022 Neer's test Can suggest subacromial pain syndrome (SAPS) that includes rotator cuff tendinopathy and bursitis. pain at the top of the range can suggest AC joint involvement.
