Karthik's research is focused on using the Itrax X-ray fluorescence scanner at ANSTO to help develop a new way of detecting seafood fraud using 'iso-elemental fingerprints'. AINSE would like to thank the wonderful ANSTO mentors who gave generously of their time and expertise in order to support the next generation of Australian and New Zealand women in STEM. The WISE Mentorsh...ip Program is an excellent opportunity for students to gain unique insights from established STEM leaders whilst also networking with like-minded peers from across our 41 member universities. 15.01.2022 Our annual Postgraduate Orientation Week is NOW OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED HONOURS/POSTGRAD STUDENTS enrolled at AINSE-member universities who intend to apply for an AINSE postgraduate scholarship in 2022! The 2021 O'Week will run online during Nuclear Science Week from Monday 18th - Wednesday 20th October. Interested students will attend a series of talks and panel discussions from ANSTO research leaders and AINSE alumni alongside the new cohort of 2021 AINSE PGRA, AINSE RSS and... ANSTO FutureNow Scholars, and will have the opportunity to embark on a virtual tour of ANSTO hosted by the ANSTO Discovery Centre. On the morning of Wednesday 20th, interested students will attend a specialised workshop focused on the application process for 2022 AINSE scholarships. Expressions of Interest close Monday 11th October.
