21.01.2022 Motor Cycle Instructors - North West Are you looking for a rewarding experience in assisting people to gain their Motor Cycle Licence in a safe and competent way? AJL Training require Instructors at our East Devonport Training Facility to meet the demand of the new Motor Cycle Training Program which operates seven (7) days a week. These positions are casual and include weekdays and weekends.... You must be from 25 years of age and held a Motor Cycle Licence for at least 5 years without suspension or infringement. Experience in training and TAE qualification is desirable but not essential. Applicants must have: Working with Vulnerable People Card, National Police Check (not greater than 6 months old), Commercial Medical Certificate, and will be required to obtain their Ancillary Certificate prior to commencement. 20.01.2022 UPDATE: In line with the current Government requirements, AJL Training will not continue with scheduled Motor Cycle Licence and Heavy Vehicle Licence training courses on the NW Coast effective immediately. All course participants that have been affected will be contacted directly.... The Tas Government will review the situation on April 26 and further updates will be posted. NW people - you will not be able to book a course or travel out of the region to undertake in Launceston. Please stay home and help us get through these trying times.

13.01.2022 AJL Training will resume training activities in East Devonport effective Monday 4th May for those that require their licence for work purposes. We will require all participants to follow strict CV requirements at all locations including maintaining social distancing, staying away if unwell etc, and our own AJL procedures. This also applies to our other Training Facilities across the state. Many of our courses have had the number of allowable participants per course decreased ...as we adhere to the requirements advised by the Tas Government and this allows us to continue to train. We will monitor Motor Cycle courses and add more to the website subject to the demand. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during our NW lockdown.

09.01.2022 Dangerous Goods Licence....... Are you requiring a Dangerous Goods Licence for your current employment or needing one for future employment? Is your licence is due to expire in the next few months?Please remember to allow at least 28 days for processing the paperwork before you receive your new licence, so dont leave it too late to redo a course.... AJL Training are taking enquiries for their next course - scheduled for July 29 & 30 (location will be subject to participants).

09.01.2022 IMPORTANT TRAINING UPDATE: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN HELMETS ** & GLOVES & ANY OTHER PPE EQUIPMENT (IF WET) TO MINIMISE THE RISK OF VIRAL INFECTIONS. Please bring your own water bottle and pen etc for hygiene purposes.... If you have a cold, cough or runny nose, please DO NOT attend, contact our office or leave a voice message (even if not related to COVID-19) as we need to maintain a healthy environment for all staff and participants. Please complete and bring the ENROLMENT FORM WITH YOU on the day along with photo id - this form was attached to your original registration email. ** All participants must wear an approved helmet that meets the Australian Standard AS1698 and EU standards (UNECE22.05) in accordance with the Tasmanian Road Rules 2009 (must display a sticker to indicate this) during the Course.

08.01.2022 AJL Training are still Training! We are an essential service as people need their licences to get to work or for work. All Motor Cycle courses, all Heavy Vehicle Licences, all Forklift courses are continuing as scheduled until we have been informed by the Tas. Government to discontinue.... We are taking all measures where we can for participants. Motor Cycle course participants are strongly urged to bring their own helmets, gloves, pens etc. Should we receive advice to cease training we will contact everyone as soon as we can and advise what the next steps will be. Please, if you are unwell, DO NOT come to your course, call our office and we can deal with your situation. If the phone is unattended, please leave a message.
