12.01.2022 Merry Christmas & God Jul The morning of Christmas Eve is a magic time for Swedes and those who have the main celebration on the 24th of December. As a child it was a day of waiting. Waiting for Santa to arrive. He would come in the evening with a big sack on his back asking if "there were any children in the house that had been good". As adults the day would be full of family cooking, Christmas music and lit candles. Living in Australia, we are blessed to celebrate both t...he Swedish and Australian way, with families that have adopted our culture fully. It all means more ways to celebrate and more food to enjoy. From Alex&Elle we wish all of you, near and far, a lovely and relaxing Christmas. Our hearts are with those who cannot celebrate with loved ones this year. Jill, our seamstress has been very busy helping us getting everything ready. We will have some gorgeous Christmas table runners, tablecloths and tea towels waiting for a new home and much more.
