21.01.2022 I'm a lover of rituals, in particular New Year rituals. For hundreds of years rituals have helped humans make sense of the world and connected us to each other and the world around us. The word ritual, is derived from an Indo-European root, and means to fit together. Every ritual conveys an act in which we literally join the metaphysical with the physical, of calling the spirit into our material lives. Brain research confirms that rituals have great power and influence ov...er our minds. I don’t think I have ever been as excited about a decade than I am about this one! I am in my prime working years, using the accumulated know how and experience that I have gained in over 20 years of work, the countless hours and the tens of thousands of dollars I have spent on learning and personal development. My health is good and improving everyday and I have a circle of kindred friends and family who have got my back. Feeling blessed! How do you welcome in the new year? Do you have a ritual? For the past 16 years I have taken time out on New Year to sit and reflect and write my annual gratitude letter - this one was distilled over several days and felt important as we move in the 2020-2030 decade. It's quite detailed and personal, yet also sweeping and grand, I share it with the intention of perhaps inspiring you to write one for yourself also - be it a sentence, a single word or a whole letter like I have prepared. 15.01.2022 2020 has turned out to be a turning point and change is being forced by all the shadows being brought to the surface. Here in Australia this has been happening in a graphic and catastrophic way with millions of acres of flora and millions of innocent fauna being destroyed by wildfire. This mornings slight sprinkling of rain in parts have brought a slight reprieve and a glimmer of hope to some. This is a turning point for humanity towards the new it cannot be resisted it can o...nly be integrated. What is happening on a country level must also happen at an individual level. This is a potent wild and volatile frequency unlike any period since 9/11 and it is not letting up. It is a crisis of the collective consciousness and it will require us all to move into a loving frequency to counter balance it so we don’t all spiral into despair.
