22.01.2022 ADD ON MATWORK Here is a zippy little challenging, Matwork Class for you! Very efficient to get a full body workout in a short amount of time! Start at the start, 1 rep of each exercises, adding on the next exercise each time. 100s to start - (breath in for 5 breath out for 5), add 1 roll up.... Back to the start - 100s (breath in for 5 breath out for 5), 1 roll up, add 1 leg circle each way. Back to the start - 100s, roll-up, leg circles, single leg stretch x 1 each You can select your own exercises or go with mine which are - 100s, roll-up, leg circles, single leg stretch, criss cross, double leg stretch, spine stretch, cobra/neck roll - (oops forgot rolling like a ball after leg circles in the video!). The just for fun I ran the whole series through 1 extra time - feel free to do this 2-3 more times! Make sure you do your version of each exercises - 100s could be with legs bent or down on the mat - the idea is to have fun by keeping yourself moving!! Kaths is extra zippy, filmed in timelapse so it doesnt take too long for you to view, so this way you can get going with your Add on Matwork as soon as possible! Link in bio This Pilates story demonstrated the importance of the coordination between the breathing diaphragm and the pelvic floor diaphragm, which are then integrated with the deep postural muscles of the abdominals and spine. The coordination of all these mus...cles in a healthy body is activated in anticipation of movement to provide a stable base from which we can move. Generally, we really dont have to think about it! Unfortunately, this coordinated effort can become dysfunctional if there is a disruption to any part of the system. This may be due to surgery, injury, pregnancy, respiratory disorders or inactivity. This is when it is important to consciously focus on re-establishing the synergy between these muscles and functional stability of the torso.
