25.01.2022 K E E P T H E G L O W// Is what we all need to do right now for our physical and mental health. Feel free to share this post with your friends and loved ones. - Applying SPF daily is still very important, light can travel through cars & house windows. - Staying up late to catch up on Netflix is not a good start for the next day. You still need your 8 hours' sleep every night.... - Multivitamins are a good source to keep your immune system up my fave is ArmaForce if you start to feel under the weather. - Keep to a good skincare routine. @the_secret_skincare by far would have to be one of the best skincare products I have used in a very long time. - Weekly face mask to help get the "Glow" back. 13.01.2022 DIY// Pumpkin enzyme mask. I had so much fun today giving this a go for you guys to create and do at home! See below what you need Key Ingriedients: Pumpkin High in antioxidants and Vitamins A, C and E. Natural source of enzymes to slough away dead skin. Honey -A natural humectant to lock in moisture; contains antibacterial properties that are ideal for acneic skin... Yogurt -Contains enzymes and lactic acid to exfoliate, hydrate and soothe. Cinnamon -The anti-fungal, antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties makes it useful against skin blemishes, by promoting blood flow to the skin. (If you are a little sensitive leave the cinnamon out.) Suitable for normal/combo skin type Method: 2 Tbsp of Pureed pumpkin. 1 Tbsp of Natural greek yoghurt 1 Tsp Natural Honey 1-2 Tsp cinnamon ground Mix all together and apply with mask brush. Leave on for 8-10mins *keep left over amount in fridge for 24hrs.

BEFORE A LASH LIFT A lash lift usually requires a 60-minute appointment, which means, you'll be laying still for a pretty decent amount of time. What a perfect opportunity for a sneaky nap, right? if coffee makes you jittery, energised or anxious, you're probably best to avoid it. ... Not to mention, drinking caffeine prior to your appointment will make your eyes twitch, making it difficult to work with. So it's probably best to avoid the coffee too close to your lash lift appointment. BEFORE TATTOOING Again, these appointments are longer, so consider whether you can last laying down for that long with caffeine running through you Caffeine is also known to thin your blood, which can mean increased bleeding. This will reduce the healing process, so it really best to avoid it if you can. 04.01.2022 A T H O M E W A X I N G// Ok ladies, here are some tips for keeping your legs and bits hair-free whilst in isolation. -Pre waxed wax strips: There is a variety to choose from, available usually in supermarkets and chemists. I suggest when you apply it to your legs, first use a form of talc on the skin to help with the wax strip not sticking (thin layer of talc.) Firmly rub the strip onto the skin, you always want to remove the strip against the grain of the hairs. -...Epilator: investing in one of these babies would be a good alternative to waxing, less mess and can be used plenty of times. Epilators also remove the entire hair from the hair follicle so it's very much like waxing. This would be a good alternative for travelling also. You can also use this machine in more areas of the body. @shavershopau has a decent range. -Hair removal creams: I would sway away from this method as its exactly like shaving. Removal creams only remove hairs from the surface of the skin. This means your hairs will become denser and thicker.
