22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Don’t forget that on the Saturday’s we have BootCamp at 7:30am and 9:30am to really get the heart rate going, just what you need after a big Friday night. :) :) :) Boot Camp is a circuit based program that has you doing a particular exercise for 50 seconds and then moving on to the next station. Stations include dumbbell punches, battle ropes, sledgehammer on big tyre, sled push etc.... Also, 10:30am Saturday’s, we have open mat time. This is for anyone who wants to come down and use the facilities, train, practice, bring a friend etc. Instructors are also in attendance for you to ask any questions or for any help that you may need. The cost for this is $10 for the morning. It used to be $20 but Sensei Pete has said halve it, we want everybody to come along..........

After having a fantastic live karate class via zoom yesterday afternoon, All Stars will be running live kids karate class...es every Wednesday 12:30pm-1:15pm. We are inviting & encouraging all members past and present from ALL clubs nationwide to attend. The classes are for children of all ages and experience levels. Costs (per family): $50 - 5 Weeks SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM! We will be running our full day kids school holiday program this term in the two weeks of the school holidays from: Tuesday 30th June to Friday 3rd July (4 days 9am to 5pm) Tuesday 7th July - Friday 10th July (4 days 9am to 5pm) This of course is only once the state government progresses to Step 2 of the COVID-19 plan. 18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As we head towards Christmas, at the speed of light , here at All Stars CQ, this is our last week of training for the year. We will be shut for 3 weeks beginning Monday 14th December and reopening the week of Monday 4th January 2021. ( There are couple of classes continuing, Adult Kickboxing and Bootcamp, except for the week between Christmas and New Years Day. )... I would like to thank each and every one of our students who stuck with their training for the year, as the year is going down in history as one we will never forget. To watch each and every one of you on your journey both inspires and humbles me. You all have your own stories, and to triumph over the adversities thrown at you this year, and you all have had to do this, gives me the inspiration to be a better teacher, instructor and mentor to each and everyone of you. I am also completely humbled by the trust, commitment and faith you all have placed in me to to begin, or continue, on your martial arts journey during this time in your life. Lastly I would like to thank all who helped me during the year. There are too many to name but a couple need special mention as they go above and beyond every week. Jaclyn, my trusted Lieutenant who, as She travels towards her Black Belt, has taken on classes, that she instructs to meet requirements for her upcoming journey. She also dives into other duties, mentoring and helping in ways that matter and impact on all of us. Courtney, who has been my right hand with the junior kickboxing classes. With such growing classes, it is fantastic for her to learn the teaching requirement part of her journey, and also I am so proud to see her also grow and triumph in her own journey. 14.01.2022 All Stars will be resuming personal training 1 on 1 for Term 2 within the current health guidelines. This means conducting sessions outdoors and with minimal eq...uipment & applying strict social distancing. Any equipment used will be sanitised after each use and all necessary precautions will be made to follow all health and safety guidelines. You can expect to work on the following in a general martial arts/fitness based session: Overall General Fitness (Health-Related & Skill-Related) Fundamentals & Basics Technique Kata Drills (solo) Self Defence (solo) Every session is tailored to your goals. The sessions will be different to normal but well planned to ensure you still walk out of the session knowing you have trained hard and improved upon your skills. 10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Our other business, CQ Health & Fitness, now has an Infrared Sauna up and running. If you want to book a 20 min, 30 min or a 40 min session, please call 0448 800 379 and book in. :) :) The benefits of an Infrared Sauna are many and varied, including helping with injury rehabilitation, reduced inflammation, relieving and improving pain and chronic pain just to name a few.... Please share this far and wide.

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, *** YAY! *** We have a provisional start date for classes......... (provisional on the Govt. not changing the current date for start.)... *** Monday 15th June 2020 *** So, from Monday 15 June we will start back with Adult Kickboxing at 6 pm and follow on with all the other regular classes at their normal times. (see attached timetable) There will be some additional steps in place to keep everyone safe and healthy whilst the risks associated with COVID-19 are still around and until the Govt allows us to go back to normal. These are some that we are following; 1. Wash hands and/or use a hand sanitiser before and after class or during if you have any concerns. 2. Take all students temperature before class with a non - contact infrared thermometer. 3. Parents will have to do a drop off and not come into Dojo proper, reception is fine to drop off, ask questions and pay fees. 4. Markings on floor to identify 1.5 meter spacing. As we are restricted to numbers, can those who wish to start back in that week, and ongoing, please text me so I can get a handle on numbers. We can have a maximum of 10 in each class.

08.01.2022 Welcome back everybody, It’s very nice to see you all again. It’s been a big week with classes resuming and Gradings being held last Saturday. Big shout out to all our students and their parents who turned up and made the day a success. I am very pleased with the effort that our students displayed during their gradings. I am proud at the standard of commitment held by both students and their parents. Big Thank you to Jaclyn Linney and Courtney Laracy for Assisting Me in Grading. Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped behind the scenes. To my Students, I want express how Proud I am at your commitment, dedication, effort and Heart. You are well on the way in your journey...wherever that make take you.
