24.01.2022 Today we celebrated the fantastic results of our recent student assessments. These students all attend the AllKids Smach Deng Day Care House and have been having special classes since July 1st this year. 20 of the 27 students have graduated to the next level of their English studies and the others look set to breeze it in come the next assessments.

22.01.2022 Today our friends from Six Senses, Koh Krabey Resort here at Ream, joined forces with AllKids to celebrate International Children's Day. Koh Krabey's Chef had prepared 300 gift boxes full of special treats from the resorts kitchens. Six Senses resorts offer luxury holidays while promoting sustainability and conservation within their local communities and Koh Krabey staff gave the children presentations on the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this a very special occasion. Lots of happy kids at K'bal Hong today!

22.01.2022 With torrential rains last week, many parts of Ream were in flood and homes inundated. However that didn't stop the students from attending the AllKids KBal Hong Learning Centre to celebrate their achievements in their recent examinations. A fantastic result with 65% of kids graduating to the next level in their English studies. A special thankyou to teachers Khen, Kunthy and Veasna for their hard work and dedication. It looks certain that all the kids will move up the ladder at the next assessments in December. www.allkids.org.au

21.01.2022 With schools closed here in Cambodia, AllKids have had a huge logistical challenge maintaing the health and welfare of the 450+ vulnerable children on our Kids to School and day care programs. Proving nutrition, education and healthcare to the children within their villagages scattered over the entire Ream Commune of nearly 100 square kilometres. 20.01.2022 During this coronavirus period, with schools closed, AllKids are making daily food home deliveries to our most vulnerable families. Before the kids receive a lovely fresh baguette, they must wash their hands with soap and running water. They appear to be quite happy to wash their hands!

15.01.2022 An important part of AllKids coronavirus safety program is to provide small group educational sessions for community members on how to keep themselves safe during this difficult time. Great team work from the AllKids staff. Paul

14.01.2022 This week, AllKids sent 6 young patients for treatment at the Children's Surgical Centre in Phnom Penh. The Doctors and staff at CSC where fantastic as usual, totally accommodating and professional. 5 operations were completed within the afternoon and we were all back home at Ream the next day. Sincere thanks to Dr Jim and his team. Also a big thankyou to the Fly High Billie Foundation who provide the funds to enable these kids to receive free treatment.

14.01.2022 It's really heartwarming to see the kids from the dump back at our day care house. They are spending some time at the AllKids Learning Centre for online learning. Very strict safety protocols are quickly becoming the norm.

12.01.2022 Inspiring Ream's young community, local eco-resort Six Senses Krabey Island, recently held a business course for AllKids to teach teenagers how to be successful entrepreneurs.

05.01.2022 Here in Cambodia, the public schools are all closed due to the threat of corona virus. AllKids teachers have been busy preparing homework packs which we deliver to all 400+ children on the Kids to School program. The next week we issue a new set of activities and pick up last weeks for marking. The kids are really pleased to have something to keep them busy.

05.01.2022 With schools and centres closed, it has been heartbreaking to see many very young AllKids children return to scavenging on the dump. What a relief that we are finally able to reopen our day care houses to our most vulnerable children. 05.01.2022 Its all hands on deck for AllKids staff. We have now opened our two day care Houses for a limited number of very vulnerable children. We have provided limited access to our learning centres for kids that can't access online learning programs from home and we continue to provide homestudy packs to over 400 kids in the Ream Community.
