25.01.2022 Dear Students, We would like to share the update on the eligibility criteria for the International Student Emergency Relief Fund International students enrolled with a private education provider or college in Victoria can apply for Stream Two of the International Student Emergency Relief Fund. ... The Victorian Governments $45 million International Student Emergency Relief Fund supports international students in Victoria facing financial hardship through loss of employment due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Fund is delivered through Study Melbourne for the Victorian Government. Changes to eligibility criteria The International Student Emergency Relief Fund is now available to students who can show they: were enrolled in an eligible private tertiary education provider in Victoria at 31 March 2020. have a current student or bridging visa (with a student visa application in process). are currently located in Victoria, Australia. were employed in Victoria any time between March and July 2020, are in financial hardship due to lost work, and dont have other financial support. 20.01.2022 Update on the easing of restrictions from 11:59pm on Sunday 21 June Announcement made: 3pm, 20 June 2020 Based on advice from the Chief Health Officer, the Victorian Government has confirmed a number of changes will be made to the proposed easing of restrictions from 11:59pm on Sunday 21 June 2020.... Public gatherings will be limited to 10 people. The number of visitors to a home will reduce to 5 visitors. Patron limits in restaurants, cafes and pubs will remain, with up to 20 seated patrons per space (indoor or outdoor). A maximum group size of 10 people applies. From 11:59pm on 31 May the following changes will come into effect. Private gatherings increase to a total of 20 people in a house, including members of the household.
