16.01.2022 Important Update on temporary visa holders. No Further Stay Condition on your current visa and Is your visa expiring soon? Can not travel in current situation? Does current visa have a condition 8503 which does not allow you to apply for a further visa (except a protection visa or a temporary visa of a specified kind, while you are in Australia) during your stay in Australia? You should apply for 8503 waiver and apply for other visas to stay lawfully in Australia.... - If your visa expires before the Department can decide your request, you will become unlawful. - This has serious consequences. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid visa for the whole of your stay in Australia == Request to Waive 8503 No Further Stay Condition== - The Waiver request is for compassionate and compelling reasons. - These reasons must have resulted in a major change to your circumstances, and must explain that since your last visa was granted that was subject to the 8503 condition, circumstances have developed over which you had no control. - If you wish to proceed, please ensure that you have attached your completed waiver request, which must include your current address and telephone number, a scanned copy of your current passport and any supporting documentation. - Wait for 28 days for the outcome (which is very quicker nowadays due to health situation) - Do not apply if your visa has more than 2 months validity *** AMZ Migration can help you to make the request to the department to process waiver and for further visa processing for your next temporary visas. 15.01.2022 Important update for Student Visa Application on Financial requirements There has been changes in Assessment Level criteria for Education providers and country of origin of the applicant. Quite a few education providers in Australia are now at Level 1, which means that no financial requirements now required at the time of visa lodgement.... Please be mindful that department can still ask for funds if case officer would like to see financial requirements to be met. You can enter the details about your country of origin and the institute you are enrolling into in the link provided below to understand document requirements: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/web-evidentiary-tool 1) Enter your country of passport 2) Select an Education provider or enter CRICOS code.
