It’s spectacular I take my linen hat off to both Caleb & Shereen, they’ve had a busy, busy week! So worth it though! Good job guys! 21.01.2022 Cucumbers are back and more popular than ever!! You know summer’s on it’s way when cucumbers appear in your fruit and veg boxes! Did you know you can also buy them as an extra! What do you do with your cucumbers? Aside from eaten whole, skin on as an all day snack, chopped up in salads or used as a vessel for dip....I’ve been investigating what else we can use our cucumbers for!... Cut length ways, scoop out the insides and fill with your favourite dip, my kids would love a tuna & mayo mix. Almost like a little subway! A perfect little summer side to a meal or just a fun snack! Cut them into coins with a bit of herby cream cheese & some tomatoes, salt & pepper! Delicious! 21.01.2022 Asparagus is here and in the boxes this week. When this little beauty hits the plate, Spring is well and truly here. How do you cook yours? We’d love to know:). We’re loving the extra inspiration asparagus is bringing to our meal planning, or non-meal planning in my case. As long as there’s fresh produce in the fridge, it gets put on the plates in one form or another. Asparagus is delicious lightly blanched, pan fried, roasted, in sandwiches, baked with cheese - there...’s so many options. We hope you enjoy yours this week! Let us know how you cook yours:)

14.01.2022 Oh hey there Jo! Jo is our beautiful lady of so many talents. All those incredible photos - it’s Jo. In house graphic designer - Jo. ... When we decided at the 11th hour to whip up Christmas Hampers, (including developing and producing artisan produce), Jo was pivotal to making it happen. She graciously worked day and night to photograph the hampers and bring our sketchy graphics ideas to life. She goes above and beyond, and nothing is too much trouble. Oh, and she has a big heart for our planet and healthy eating. You’ll find her at her other side hustle The Pantry. She has sourced some of the most eco friendly products and pantry items from around the country and sells it all cheaper than retail. Check it out! She’s here from 5.30am laying out boxes for the pack and has her eye across all the little details to keep us running smoothly. She’s always up for a chat when you come to collect your box, is raw food maker extraordinaire and will be the lady power behind the 100s of bottles of our Artisan Christmas Specials. ... 08.01.2022 Just appreciating my work space and how fabulous it is! Also, have made a mental note to make my hair less high as I’ve now been tangled in that hanging plant 6 times since 9.15am! While we’re on the subject of all things fabulous...we have spare boxes today for any of you that forgot to order or loaded up your basket then got sidetracked! 06.01.2022 Good morning! It’s so warm and gorgeous out there today. Our neighbours are putting in a pool today (hello summer!). You might be able to sneak past the truck and diggers. If not, park on Crebert st and we have a trolley you can use to take your goodies up to the car.

05.01.2022 Well Mr Apples has had his first day at his new job today, so you won’t be seeing Caleb around during the arvo anymore. Congrats and all of us back here hope it’s going really well ! . Meanwhile I have a nice quiet house and am working from home plus getting out and about hanging with some cool kids at local parks in my other day job as a kids physio. . Oh and taking a 1.5 hour lunch break to do some dinner prep - 5 of the kids favourite meals all ready to go. ... . See you round this week sometime! 04.01.2022 Fennel, apple + pork = best friends. A little fennel slaw (finely sliced fennel, apple and pear, dressing of vinegar, s&p), pulled pork slow cooked in the pizza oven, all put together in a wrap. It was delicious with asparagus too but we ate all that before we could get a picture

03.01.2022 From this...to that! It’s quite the process. We start with 4 kilos of fresh chillis. Then they are smoked for 4 hours in the bullet smoker and dehydrated in the oven for 36 hours. ... Next we smoke the salt for 8 hours. Lastly, the chillis get blitzed up, mixed with the salt, and bottled up. Meanwhile poor Hayley just about loses her nose with all the sneezing and coughing that goes on. She’ll be very glad not to see another dried chilli in her life, but we can’t help it that the people LOVE this stuff! Still a few jars left and believe us, it’s good sprinkled on just about anything!
