07.01.2022 Ok so day 1 of my challenge to do 22 pushups for 22 days.I was nominated by Cameron Smith The idea is to help bring awareness of suicide in the military forces, our returned service men and women and our veterans. It was started in the US, where every DAY, 22 US veterans commit suicide due to the effects of PTSD and combat stress, but it is by no means restricted to the US military with 239 Australian Defence Force personnel who have died by their own hands since 1999, and 41... this year so far. To raise awareness of this, I will perform 22 push ups for 22 days, and nominate someone else to perform the challenge. Today I nominate John Russo. Let's see if we can get this as big as the ice bucket challenge, spread this news and let someone out there know that we do care. Remember that there is help out there whether you are a member of the military or not.
