09.01.2022 There are now nine (9) active COVID-19 cases in Ararat Rural City. Two additional cases were added this afternoon. No additional exposure sites have appeared on the Health Department website at this stage.

04.01.2022 UPDATE Heath authorities have confirmed there are now 4 cases of COVID-19 in the local community. All are in self isolation. It comes after Ararat Aldi posted an announcement on its front door advising customers a staff member has tested positive to COVID-19. Anyone who visited the store on Wednesday between 8.30am and 3.07pm or Thursday between 8.30am and 8.53am should get tested and self isolate. The swab clinic is again up and running at Alexandra Oval today until 6pm.... It’s expected Aldi Ararat will be listed as an exposure site on the governments website sometime today. See more
