18.01.2022 COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS EASING A short time ago the Premier announced a further easing of restrictions as we head in to the Christmas period. Here's what's changing:new COVID rules starting 1st December... From 1 December You can have up to 50 people visiting your home if you're using an outdoor space - eg a backyard If you do not have an outdoor area its not recommended you have more than 30 people in your home Hospitality venues (up to 200sqm) can have 1 person per 2 square metres Up to 50 people can gather outdoors in a public space From 14 December The health order recommending working from home will be removed - businesses can decide what they will do with their employees in the new year. This will likely mean a lot of people heading back to the office. I know this will be very welcome news for a lot of people, particularly planning Christmas parties and gatherings in their homes, and our hospitality venues. It's all down to everyone's hard work, getting tested and doing your part. Well done!
