16.01.2022 Amid growing concerns and uncertainty around the Coronavirus, Bowls WA has recommended that all bowls events be suspended immediately. Also South Suburban Dart Association, has cancelled all dart events for five (5) weeks as of today. The Armadale District Bowling Club Committee will be having an emergency meeting tonight to discuss the best possible outcome for our members and guests. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but in the current times we need to ensure the safety and well being of everyone that utilises our club.

10.01.2022 Tonight the President announced that the Finance Committee has decided to close the Club for 2 weeks as of tomorrow. ( The Club will be open tomorrow morning between 10am and 12 for bowlers that would like to pick up their bowls.) This was a very hard decision to make for them. Due to the Council works going on & the virus regulations imposed on businesses, the management of the Club at the moment has been very difficult. They will reassess the decision in 12 days and hopefully the Club can reopen. In these difficult times let’s all do what we can to ensure we will be able to open the doors. Take care everyone.

08.01.2022 Hello everyone hope you are all staying healthy and safe. A Message From The President: Firstly I hope that everyone is well. I can't impress enough the importance of heeding the advice and direction issued by the government and health department by staying at home as much as possible.... We are one of the lucky clubs that we are in a good financial position. The Special General Meeting and the Annual General Meeting that where scheduled for last month will now be held sometime in October 2020. This will be monitored and if the situation changes dramatically with the virus, we will reconsider this decision. Works on the club rooms has come to a stop for now due to wiring problems but hopefully work should start again soon. The new kitchen has been designed and should be starting at the same time as the rest of the works. In closing take care of yourselves and keep smiling. We can get over this and we as a club can only grow stronger. Craig Davis

06.01.2022 Hope all of you are well. The Government has relaxed the rules regarding the grouping of people and Bowls WA is now happy for our Bowlers to have a roll up. The Government is permitting groups of 10 people for special circumstances, but the 1.5 metre distancing rule still applies. You can now have a roll up at the Club with entry only via the Green keepers gate and equipment (ie: mats & kitty's) can be found in the men's locker room. Please we urge people who plan to utilize... the club for this reason, to adhere to the Government rules and abide by the access restrictions set out. Stay safe everyone and we hope to see you all soon. See more
